Windows XP
1. Double click My Network Places
2. Choose Add Network Place3. Choose Another Network

Windows XP4. Enter https://courseweb.stthomas.edu/your_username5. Login with your ID and password6. Click Next and then Finish to complete the setup7. You will be asked to login again so you can see a list of folders
and files in your courseweb.

Windows 73. Enter the server address: https://courseweb.stthomas.edu/yourusername and then login with your username and password

• 4. Complete the setup and you will see a list of folders and files in your courseweb
• 5. Open a new window to locate your project folder. Drag your project folder and put it inside the courseweb to upload your files.
Mac1. From the Finder, choose Connect to
Server from the Go menu
2. Enter the server address:https://mystorageweb.stthomas.edu/yourusernameClick “Connect”

Mac3. Login with your username and password4. You will see Courseweb appears as a drive on your file window.
Single-click the Courseweb and you will see a folder on the right with your username on it.
5. Double-click the folder to open it.6.Drag your project folder to your courseweb folder to upload files
Upload Files to Courseweb
1. Locate your local folder and drag it to a blank spot at your courseweb folder to complete the upload.
2. The URL will be http://courseweb.stthomas.edu/username/foldername/filename

Determine the URL1. The URL follows the convention:
UST domain name/userID/folder_name/file_name2. The UST web server domain name is:
http://courseweb.stthomas.edu/userID (UserID is your email login ID)
3. If the uploaded folder is titled “moduleone”, add it to the URL, e.g.,http://courseweb.stthomas.edu/userID/moduleone
4. Now add the entry point file name which can be “index.html” (or player.htm) to the URL. The final URL should be:http://courseweb.stthomas.edu/userID/moduleone/indexhtml
6. If it works, highlight the URL from the browser, use the key combinations (Mac: command+C; PC: control+C) to copy the address and then paste it to Blackboard, wiki, or email The key combinations for paste is: Mac: command+V and PC: control+V
7. If it does not work, verify the foldername and file name.
