What gift is greater than a mother's love? None. For it is the gift from which all others spring. Love you mom. Happy Mother's Day
Challenges for Joint Information Centers (JIC) Policies, procedures and practices are out-
of-date Learning curve is steep and training is
hard to “buy” in today’s economy Government lags behind and industry in
understanding the necessity to tap into and exploit social media
Going Digital
Whose website do we use? Will the site stand up to the traffic? How do we quickly get up-to-date information? How can we be fast enough to be relevant? How do we include those who cannot be physically present? How do we get fast IC approvals? How do we minimize the incoming phone calls? How do we make sure critical audiences receive the
messages?
Going Digital
How do we as a team manage the flood of inquiries? How do we make certain all critical stakeholders receive timely information? How do we manage activities for speed and quality? How do we monitor what the media, blogs, and community is saying? How do we document everything? How do we know who is who in the response and how to contact them?
