established last February 2013 (delayed due to unavailability of the 5
laksas canepoints at SRA Breeding Farm in La Carlota City, Negros
Occidental) and expected harvest will be this February 2014. The
canepoints to be harvested in the nursery farm will be transferred to
another 1 hectare farm in Viscaya, Pres. Roxas, Capiz as an expansion area
of the existing nursery farm in Sto. Nino, Pres. Roxas, Capiz.
The canepoints to be produced from the two (2) nurseries will be
distributed to interested ARBs in the covered areas at a minimal cost to
recover the production expenses provided by the cooperator.
