Entering the Water Ski DirectoryAfter you have received an e-mail from the E&A Administrative Office with:• your user name (e.g. France)• your password (e.g. banana)• and the URL of the website,you can go to this URL (simply click on it in the e-mail message) and enter your user name and password

1. Entering the Water Ski DirectoryWhen you see this Security Warning, you should click on “Run” to accept this software.It will open the Search bar.If you do not see this Security Warning, it might be blocked by your Spam filter.

2. Using the Water Ski DirectoryIf you have entered a correct user name and password, you will open the Water Ski Directory.You can now perform a search, make a selection, or export addresses to an Excel file (see next slides)

3. Searching the Water Ski Directory

Clicking on any of the links under “Contacts” or “Federations” will show you the addresses in the Directory as described in the link

e.g. clicking on “by Last name” will show you all contacts sorted alphabetically by Last name, etc.

e.g. clicking on “E&A” will show you all E&A Federations, etc.

You can use the search bar or the search button for more extended searches.

4. What if you find a wrong or missing address ?If you should find that an address is wrong or missing,and you have the correct data, then please contact the webmasterand the new data will be put in place as soon as possible !

5. Levels and andClicking on “by Function” will give you a list of all functions in the database.The number on the right indicates how many persons are in this function.To see more about one of these functions, you can “open” them by clicking on the arrowin front of them.There are levels below the arrow when it looks like this: You have reached the last level when the arrow looks like

6. More information on a Federation / IndividualClicking on a name will open a screen with more detailed information on a person or Federation etc.To close this screen, use the X on the right hand side of the screenor the exit button on the left hand side.

7. Exporting addresses - step 1If you would like to use a number of addresses for a mailing, you can make a selection and then export this selection to an Excel document.Step 1 : click on “Export”. This will show you the export selections you have saved in earlier sessions.

8. Exporting addresses - step 2If you want to make a new export, then click on the “New Export” (for individuals) or “New Export Federations”.

This will open a screen with selection criteria and a procedure to follow.

9. Exporting addresses - step 3Clicking on a CRITERIA check box will make the possible choices (VALUES) appear.You now get a list with all the VALUES you can select (one or more).Choosing no VALUE will select all the possibilities of the CRITERIUM (e.g. all Council and Committee members).Simply click in the box to select a criterium or value.

10. Exporting addresses - step 4

Click here if you want to save your selection for later use.

If you want to export your selection to Excel now,then click on the “Fields to Export” tab.

If you want to stop without saving or exporting your selection, click the exit button.

11. Exporting addresses - step 5Select the fields you need.Then click on the “Export to Excel” button (at the top of the list).Your selection will now be saved with the title you gave it and your files will be exported to an Excel file (see next step).

OR

If you click on the Save & Close button, your selection will be saved for later use with the title you gave it.

A left click on this message will give the following result:

You can now save this file on your computer for further use or use it immediately.

A right mouse click on this message will give the following result:

With “Save Target As” you can immediately save the result (= an Excel sheet) on your computer.
