Children’s Summer Reading Club (ages birth-12):

Be A Detective! Grab your magnifying glass and plan for an exciting discovery of ideas far and wide as “Get A Clue… At The Library,” the 2012 Summer Reading Club begins June 5th. Summer Reading Club participants birth through age 12 who read at least 5 books are eligible to receive a free ticket to Ringling Brothers Circus, an ice cream treat, and a free ticket to a Texas Rangers game in July. Other prizes will be awarded based on minutes read, and top readers will receive trophies at the Awards Ceremony on July 24th.

The Azle Memorial Library is excited to

announce its first Adult Summer Reading Club for ages 18 and older! The theme this year is “Master the Art of Reading.” Participants will

be eligible to win great prizes! Visit the Library between June 5th and July 25th to register

and enter to win. Winners will be announced at the finale party on Thursday, July 26 at 4:30

pm. in the Library Community Room.

Rock ‘N Roll Up Your Sleeve!

Thursday, June 14th is your chance to help save lives and feel good about doing it. The Azle Memorial Library is partnering with the Red Cross to bring you the Rock ‘N Roll Up Your Sleeve blood drive.

All presenting donors will receive a rock-n-roll t-shirt and be eligible to win a Gibson guitar! PLUS: all those aged 16-21 who attempt to donate blood or platelets are eligible to win a $5,000 scholarship!
