Week in ReviewThis week was DINO-mite! We learned all about dinosaurs and paleontologists. Did you know that paleontologists can tell what a dinosaur ate, how it traveled, and where it lived all through the fossils they find? We learned that dinosaurs can be carnivores or herbivores and we know how to distinguish them by their legs, feet, teeth, and necks. Nonfiction stories about dinosaurs helped us with text features, like bold words, and captions. We also read the books, Min-o-saur, Chalk, and Pete the Cavecat. Our favorite was Edwina, written by Mo Willems. Many art and writing activities went with our stories.
