Untold Stories (Part I): Manufacturing Consent
If you are looking to discover some of the propaganda that permeates throughout the American public, then you will definitely
want to check out the first film in the six-part “Untold Stories” movie series,
Manufacturing Consent. This film, based on the intellectual work of Noam
Chomsky, looks at the propaganda model, which demonstrates how “corporate
media, as profit-driven institutions, tend to serve and further the agendas of the
interests of dominant, elite groups in the society.”

Untold Stories (Part II): Outfoxed
The second movie in this series, Outfoxed, takes a look at “whether and how media empires, led by Rupert Murdoch’s Fox
News, have an active campaign to misinform people for personal gain.” This documentary will also talk to some of the
people who have worked for Fox News to get first hand accounts of
news manipulation.

Untold Stories (Part III): Orwell Rolls Over in his Grave
The third film in this series, Orwell Roles in His Grave, examines the media through
professional and intellectual specialists. Follow along as the media specialists

unreported or misreported, leading to many unanswered questions. This movie “talks about the one thing that the media
doesn’t like to talk about: itself”.

Untold Stories (Part IV): The War on Democracy
This documentary looks at the United
States’ military involvement with Latin American democracies, focusing on Venezuela, Guatemala, Chile, and
Bolivia. From the perspective of these countries, given the long history of
atrocities, United States imperialism cannot be tolerated., but a mutual
relationship must be fostered.

the war in Iraq. This documentary features testimonies from soldiers who share their experiences in war, and the
turmoil they experience on their decision to leave the military in opposition of the
wars.
