What is chewing tobacco?

Page 3: Untitled presentation

Chewing tobacco is a type of smokeless Tobacco product. It's used by placing a portion of the product between the cheek and the gum or upper lip and teeth. It is usually not ground like tobacco in cigarettes, which means that you need to grind it up yourself with your teeth, bringing out all the flavor and nicotine.

Loose leaf tobacco is sweetened and packaged loose in aluminum-lined pouches. It is used quite a lot, because of its ease to take out of the pouch and straight into the mouth of the user.

Plug tobacco is pressed and formed into sheets, with the aid of a little syrup, mostly molasses. It is then cut into individual plugs, wrapped with fine tobacco and then packaged.

Twist tobacco is made by twisting it into rope like strands of fine tobacco, and then it's tied into a knot.
