on pages 192. I saw some of the same problems I saw on the Obama Certificate namely irregular

line spacing and word spacing_ Figure 4 shows the top three lines with the ~~ix poi~t grid. I lined up the grid using the lower case letters in Honolulu because I noticed that the ;'H" was bent to

the left throughout the certificate, which is Ok. You can have bent type arms but all the letters on

that arm will be bent to the left or right-they weren't. The line length of this 1949 form was 512

points or 7.l5-inches, I was able to get the typewriter type on the first three lines to fit the 6-

point grid across the entire line. The leading was another story. I put the base line on the "Hono-

lulu" in box 1 and the "Honolulu" below in box 1 b was also on the baseline. Box 1 c starts out

correct but then starts to drop below the baseline a little. The right side of the fOlm is a different

story, In box 2a the "T.H." is on the baseline but the "Honolulu" is 2 point above it for no reason

especially since the form line drops down half a point. In box 2c "Honolulu is 3 points below the

baseline as well as the address in box 2d.

74 The registrar stamp (Figure 39) also had a problem with it. If you look closely the first

line has greater line spacing between the first and second line. The line spacing between the sec-

ond line and the third line is more like what we have seen from legitimate COLBs. Also there

should not be such a type density difference between the first line and the rest of the text. Finally

the last "H" in HEALTH on the third line should not look like that. Figure 40 shows a close-up

of the word and you can see the "H" looks like a "A" and that is impossible with a metal emboss-

ing stamp and I would go as far as to state that it would be impossible for a rubber stamp. What
