Reducing Regulatory Red Tape
• Electronic Health Records (EHR) are frustrating for both patients and doctors.
• Problem is the federal government’s “Meaningful Use” regulations.
• Systems are designed to meet government objectives, not patient and physician needs.
• AMA is pressing the Administration to reset the Meaningful Use program.
