“Your Grace is Enough” Matt MaherWorship Team: Brian Coon, Jared Buck, Darry Wilmore, Doug Finefrock
Great is your faithfulness, O God;You wrestle with the sinner's restless heart. You lead us by still waters into mercyAnd nothing can keep us apart.
So remember your people,Remember your children,Remember your promise, O God.
Your grace is enough; your grace is enough,Your grace is enough for me.
Great is your love and justice, God of Jacob; You use the weak to lead the strong. You lead us in the song of your salvation,And all your people sing along.
“Mercy” Andres Figueroa, Brooke Odom, Carlos Pimentel, Colin Dennard, Mariah McManus, and Robert Aholoka
The kindness of heaven is here in Your presence You move with compassion, you reach out and pull me closer Your river of mercy a stream never-ending The strength of Your love will carry me
Who can stand againstMy God has strong and open handsThat cover me in mercyHe covers me in mercy(Your mercy covers me)
Out of the ashes eternity promisedExtravagant goodness and patience abundantI’ve been forgiven my failures forgottenThe strength of Your love will carry me
Compassion forgivenessThe strength in my weaknessDevoted sufficientYour love bridged the distance
Oh what kindness in Your presenceMy salvation
Prayer of Confession, Prayer of Confession, Assurance of Pardon & Assurance of Pardon & Apostles’ Creed Apostles’ Creed Susanna Hoke, Director of Discipleship
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.
“Highlands (Song of Ascent)” Benjamin Hastings & Joel Houston
O how high would I climb mountainsIf the mountains were where You hideO how far I'd scale the valleysIf You graced the other side
O how long have I chased riversFrom lowly seas to where they riseAgainst the rush of grace descendingFrom the source of its supply
'Cause in the highlands and the heartacheYou're neither more or less inclinedI would search and stop at nothingYou're just not that hard to find
Oh (So) I will praise You on the mountain(And) I will praise YouWhen the mountain's in my wayYou're the summit where my feet areSo I will praise You in the valleys all the sameNo less God within the shadowsNo less faithful when the night leads me astray('Cause) You're the heaven where my heart isIn the highlands and the heartache all the same
Whoa (whoa)
O how far beneath Your gloryDoes Your kindness extend the pathFrom where Your feet rest on the sunriseTo where You sweep the sinner's past
And O how fast would You come runningIf just to shadow me through the nightTrace my steps through all my failureAnd walk me out the other side
For who could dare ascend that mountainThat valleyed hill called CalvaryBut for the One I call Good ShepherdWho like a lamb was slain for me
Whatever I walk throughWherever I amYour Name can move mountainsWherever I standAnd if ever I walk throughThe valley of deathI'll sing through the shadowsMy song of ascent
My song of ascentWhoa whoaMy song of ascentWhoa whoa
From the gravest of all valleysCome the pastures we call graceA mighty river flowing upwardsFrom a deep but empty grave

Sermon Sermon “Not Sure … Anyone Comes Back From the Dead” George Hinman, Senior Pastor
Text: Matthew 28:1-101 After the sabbath, as the first day of the week was dawning, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to see the tomb. 2 And suddenly there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord, descending from heaven, came and rolled back the stone and sat on it. 3 His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow. 4 For fear of him the guards shook and became like dead men. 5 But the angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid; I know that you are looking for Jesus who was crucified. 6 He is not here; for he has been raised, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay. 7 Then go quickly and tell his disciples, "He has been raised from the dead, and indeed he is going ahead of you to Galilee; there you will see him.' This is my message for you." 8 So they left the tomb quickly with fear and great joy, and ran to tell his disciples. 9 Suddenly Jesus met them and said, "Greetings!" And they came to him, took hold of his feet, and worshiped him. 10 Then Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid; go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me."
Response Song: “I Love You, Lord” Laurie Klein
I love you, Lord, and I lift my voice, to worship you, oh my soul, rejoice;Take joy, my King, in what you hear; let it be a sweet, sweet sound in your ear.
Prayers of the People & Prayers of the People & the Lord’s Prayerthe Lord’s PrayerSusanna Hoke
Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.
Closing Song: “Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone)” Edwin Othello Excell, Louie Giglio, John Newton, John P. Rees & Chris Tomlin
Amazing grace! How sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me! I once was lost, but now am found; was blind but now I see.
‘Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, and grace my fears relieved; How precious did that grace appear the hour I first believed.
My chains are gone, I've been set freeMy God, my Savior has ransomed meAnd like a flood His mercy rains unending love, amazing grace.
The Lord has promised good to me; his word my hope secures. He will my shield and portion be as long as life endures.
The earth shall soon dissolve like snow, the sun forbear to shine; But God, who called me here below, will be forever mine.
