Program Basics
• Admission Requirements– Online application– Decisions made once every two years – 12/15
• Advising– Denny Berry serves as an advisor upon admission- Courses are planned on a prescribed basis for the cohort
with the opportunity to take 3 electives• Length of Study
– Part-time enrollment: 2 courses/semester – Typically 3-4 years depending on time required to finish
capstone dissertation• Computer Access
- Internet access required for hybrid courses

Two-tiered selection process • Screening based on paper credentials and current
leadership position• Selection based on face-to-face Saturday session
featuring– An introduction to the program and Q&A– Case study exercise – Elevator speech on leadership– Individual interviews– Writing sample

• Integration of theory, experience, and research • Cohort-based• First and second year: Strong core of theory
and research • Field-based practicum projects• Use of case studies• Customized areas of specialization • Third year: Study of a problem of practice
culminating in a Capstone Dissertation
