Jag Success is your campus home for academic success. They provide FREE workshops, homework help and academic coaching tutoring for USA students. Student leaders also offer specialized review and problem solving sessions for designated courses including mass statistics, chemistry, biology and physics. JAG success also helps connect people with other campus resources including math/STAT lab and the writing center. Jag Pals (peer academic leaders) also work with first year students to connect throughout their first year allowing new students to learn from someone like themselves, how to be successful in college. Generally pals meet and interact with students in First Year Experience class, email them during the week, and are available to share information on academics and student life. These leaders fill an important role as they help new students adjust academically and socially to college and life at South.

We recognize the importance of becoming more than just a student. When you choose to live on campus, you’re choosing to

become a part of something greater. Simply put, you’re becoming “South!” Living on campus will be one of the most rewarding

experiences throughout your collegiate life. You will find that you’ll have a less stressful college experience and more

advantages at USA housing and residence life.

DeltaThe delta community is made up of four non-traditional two person and private room residence halls. both freshmen and upperclassmen live in this community.

EpsilonThe Epsilon Community contains both traditional and non-traditional residence halls. Epsilon 1 and Epsilon 2 are both traditional halls housing our first-time freshmen IN Living Learning Communities (LLC). Both Epsilons have a TV Room, study room, and professional Residence Life staff offices. delta 6 is non-traditional with two person rooms with kitchenettes.

Stokes Hallstokes hall, a traditional residence hall, opened fall of 2011 and features 330 suite-style rooms. Additionally, Stokes Hall features one (1) classroom, eight (8) study lounges, two (2) multipurpose rooms, interior hallways, and a large laundry room. Freshmen and Upperclassmen reside in this hall that has an added academic focus.

Beta and Gamma The Beta/Gamma Community contains both apartment style and non-traditional residence hall accommodations. The apartment style residence halls are located in Beta 1 – 5 and Gamma 5 – 9. The non-traditional style residence halls are Gamma 0 – 4.
