Challenge In 2019, rp Visual’s was contacted by Cenero to upgrade a 2014 RPV Christie Microtile Mounting Structure to a custom LED Mount for Apex 1.2mm LEDs. In addition to engineering the custom mounts for the LED tiles, project goals included designing a system that could fit inside the original structure and adding space for a camera below the display for video conferencing capabilities.

Solution

Working closely with Cenero, RPV engineered and fabricated a custom LED floor mount structure to support the Christie Apex LED tiles. The floor mount attaches directly to the concrete within the original 2014 structure.

By engineering the vertical steel uprights to sit within the 2014 structure, no additional space was used in the room for the LED display. The custom array plates provide 6-axis adjustment helping maintain seam integrity of
