The Registrar, University of Calicut, invites open tenders for the installation of five photocopiers on

rental (per copy rate) basis as per the specifications and terms and condition given below. The

Tender form can be downloaded from the University website. Sealed tenders shall be submitted to

The cost of tender and EMD shall be remitted as E-payment (through the website,

www.iwps.uoc.acin, for remitting tender cost select the option CTF001 and for EMD

select EMD001). or Demand Drafts. The Demand Drafts shall be drawn in favour of Finance

Officer University of Calicut. There shall be two separate demand drafts for EMD and cost of tender.

The firms which had been blacklisted already are not eligible to apply. The successful bidders

shall furnish performance security equivalent Rs.5,000/- and copy contract agreement in Rs.200/-

Kerala Stamp paper towards fulfillment of the contract. The performance security and EMD are returnable.

Paper, electricity and, manpower will be supplied by the University. The contractor shall at his/her expense provide service, maintenance and repairs, all labour

and parts that may be required to keep the machines in good working condition. In cases of major break down, spare machine of same capacity shall be installed without

affecting the routine work. The period of agreement will be one year from date of supply order. The succesful bidder shall install all the five photocopier machines in working condition at

the locations within 5 days of the, supply order.

a tender for the specification therein subject to the terms and conditions

contained in the said tender; WHEREAS the bounden has also deposited with the University a sum

of as earnest money for execution of an agreement undertaking

the due fulfillment of the contract in case his tender is accepted by the University. NOW THESE

PRESENTS WITNESS and it is hereby mutually agreed as follows: In case the tender submitted by the bounden is accepted by the University and the

contract for is awarded to the bounden, the bounden shall within 21 days of

acceptance of his tender execute an agreement with the University incorporating all the terms and

conditions under which the University accepts his tender. In case the bounden fails to execute the agreement as aforesaid incorporating the terms and

Oonditions governing the contract, the University shall have power and authority to recover from the

bounden any loss or damage caused to the University by such breach as may be determined by the

University by .appropriating the earnest money deposited by the bounden and if the earnest money

is found to be inadequate the deficit amount may be recovered from the bounden and his properties

movable and immovable in the manner hereinafter contained.

NI sums found due to the University under or by virtue of this agreement shall be

recoverable from the bounden and his properties movable and immovable under the provisions of

the Revenue Recovery Act for the time being in force as though such sums are arrears of land

revenue and in such other manner as the University may deem fit.
