Message From
Vice Chancellor
It is a pleasure to note the Directorate of Evening
Program enhancing the scope of its services that
has enabled more and more intake of students in
the Evening Program. This signifies that more
students are able to benefit from the University of
Karachi. Professional and In-services students
are to take most of the advantage of the Evening
Program degree, diploma and certificate programs. It is envisaged that in time
to come, number of students in the Evening Program will be close to that in the
morning session.
During the last about two decades, since its inception, the Evening Program
session has emerged as a vital academic segment of the University of Karachi.
Combined efforts and willingness of the management of the Directorate of
Evening Program, its faculty team, staff and the students have made it possible
to keep the studies going on with all satisfaction.
In the present knowledge-based world, it is essential that students and
teachers keep themselves very suitably updated with current knowledge,
skills, discoveries and inventions so that the students, after graduation, are in
an ideal position to start their career in employment, business or industry in
the private and public sectors. As for the University of Karachi, it will keep up
its strife for improving the academic and research standards.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Qaiser

Admissions 2013-14
Admissions 2013-14
In its efforts to provide the students admitted
in the Evening Program with quality education,
the University of Karachi may take pride
without hesitation. Despite hard conditions in
the city for several years, the Directorate of
Evening Program under umbrella of the
University of Karachi has been sincerely
making it possible for the students to complete
their studies within the scheduled time-frame. Sound management
adequately lessens the intensity of problems and issues faced. Despite
several challenges, the University of Karachi stands among the
renowned universities of the world which is shows that quality and
standards of education and research at the University of Karachi are
taken good care of.
It is a perfect advice for the new entrants that they focus on their
respective studies. With steadfastness and perseverance they will
significantly improve their knowledge and information about the fields
of their studies. When they graduate in due course of time, they will find
attractive opportunities to start their future career within and outside
Pakistan.
My best wishes to all the students of the 2013-14 admissions.
