I N T RO D U C TI O N : The First object of a Hospital is the care of the patient, where the

fundamental objective of University Library is serve the users

Our Library has excellent infrastructure that can cater to the needs of

different kind of students. The Library was established in the year 1968

and since than it has made rapid progress is developing its infrastructure

and increasing the collection of books. Total carpet area of the Library is

28000 Sq. Feet. Seating capacity of the Library is 110.

The library is being computerized with SOUL 2.0 software. It is

connected to INFLIBNET

All students, faculty members, employees of the university and citizen are eligible for

membership of the library. The registered members are issued I-card to their corresponding

15 Gandhi Centenary Celebrations 1968-69 Gandhi Darshan, a visual presentation of the life, work, ideas and message of Mahatma Gandhi, was opened at Rajghat in Delhi on October 1, 1969. The Prime Minister, Shrimati Indira Gandhi is seen at the pavilion, 'My Life is My Message'.


Gandhi Week was organized by the Iraqi Gandhi Centenary Committee. The President of Bagdad University, Mr.Jassim Mohammed Khalaf (second from the left) opened an exhibition of books and photographs relating to the life and work of Gandhiji in Bagdad during the week.
