Development of curriculum
• All degrees will include Florida Tech core
• Use existing course numbers where appropriate
Course development/presentation• Developed by “presenting” faculty
– $4,000 plus travel expense
• Taught by “evaluating” faculty– If full time, pay as overload w/ pay as adjunct– If adjunct, pay $1750 as a base & then $110 for
every student above 15– If online faculty, pay is their salary
Course review/improvement
• $1,000 per course
• All current course material (95 courses) needs to be reviewed
Teaching of course
• Materials include video, syllabus and textbooks
• Educational activities include chats, discussion board, assignments and assessments
Assessments
• Papers• Projects• Online quizzes – multiple choice, T/F,
matching, short answers• Open book exams• Questions handled by “evaluating” faculty

• Transcript will look the same
• Access to financial aid
• Access to library
• Florida Tech e-mail
Academic questions
• Subject to academic dismissal just as other on-campus & off-campus students
• Courses taken from Florida Tech through University Alliance delivery same as “change of major”
• Courses from other University Alliance schools are subject to “transfer”
Intellectual property
• Course media will be jointly copyrighted by Florida Tech and Bisk
• Course media development is a “work for hire”
• Course content remains the property of the faculty
