IBM System i Project with Università di Trento (1/2) Project objectives

– Relaunch System i awareness in one of the most important Italian technical Universities

– Create the future generation of IT Managers on the IBM System i platform through our Deltadator Business Partner and clients

– Respond to the skill shortage on IBM System i (check on Monster the iSeries, AS400, AS/400 search keys!!!)

Activities Plan• Deltadator and some of its clients in the Trento-Bolzano area have been selected

• 6 months internships (in italian) starting in 2007 with or without credits – based on students’ dissertation needs

• Selected innovative projects on the IBM System i platform on the following topics:

– Application development: Web Services, SOA, PHP, J2EE WebSphere, ACG Java, 5250 application modernization;

– Infrastructure solutions: Business Continuity, IT Simplification and Consolidation (Windows, Linux, UNIX, i5/OS).
