UNIVERSAL PRE-KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION Is your child ready for Pre-K? Come in and register with us for the 2020 - 2021 school year. We will host a UPK Information Session for families on Wednesday, March 18th from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Gidney Avenue School. The information session will include an overview of the NECSD UPK program, information tables about each UPK site and visits to sample Pre-K classrooms. 2020-2021 Registration Requirements 1. Birth Certificate 2. Immunizations 3. Physical/Health Appraisal (within last calendar year) 4. Proof of Residency documents: you must submit at least 1 primary and 1 supplementary (please visit the registration page at newburghschools.org for acceptable documentation) 5. Identification of Parent/Guardian 6. Custody/Foster Care Documentation (if applicable) 7. IEP (if available) Dates: March 19th - April 17th Location: Board of Education Office 124 Grand Street, Newburgh, NY 12550 Time: 8:00am - 3:00pm (Monday-Friday) • A child must be 4 years old on or before December 1st, 2020 to be eligible for the 2020-2021 school year. • Registration packets available on district website or at the registration office. • Students are placed by a lottery system, NOT first come first serve.
