Answer the following questions: Why do people temp? Have any of you done a temping job? Was it a good experience? Read the text , and underline any information that

Listening Comprehension Please write a reply to Andrea Greer’s letter to confirm their attendan

ce at the fair. They should accept or decline the invitation to the special reception. You can use some of the expressions from the useful language box on P23.

This activity is like Part Two of the Writing Test, in which you have to write 60-80 words. A good way of increasing the word count is to add explanations, eg:

(Accept) We will be delighted to attend the special reception on the 21st, as this will be a good opportunity to meet the other publishers.

(Regret) I regret that I cannot attend the special reception because my company is giving a dinner for the sales team.
