PAST CONTINUOUS VS. SIMPLE PAST•PAST CONTINUOUS

• It describes an action or event that was in progress in the past, specially when talking about stories.

• It’s a temporary or unfinished action.

•SIMPLE PAST• It is used to talk about shorter and completed events in the past.

• It’s a finished, completed action.

STRUCTURES AND EXAMPLES
