There are many places to plant. Find a place that is sunny. First, place the tiny seeds in the ground. Don’t put the seeds to close together. They will be too crowded as they grow. Water them so they won’t get thirsty.

We eat some plants. We eat the top part of peas, beans, and corn. We eat the part of yams and beets that grow under the ground.

If you are growing these plants, put up a gate. It will keep animals from getting them. They like to dig up your beautiful plants so they can munch on them.
