Summary:The Past Continuous Tense

• 过去进行时的构成 :

was/were + v-ing----- I / He / She / It was + 动词 -ing

----- We / You / They were + 动词 -ing

（过去某一特定时间） 如： at 8 o’clock yesterday

过去分词的构成１．一般在动词词尾直接加 -ing　 wear-wearing meet-meeting 　 listen-listening look-looking 　 repeat-repeating watch-watching 　 play-playing do-doing ２．以不发音 e 结尾的动词，去掉 e 加 -ing　 come-coming have-having 　 skate-skating make-making 　 take-taking write-writing

过去分词的构成３．以重读闭音节结尾，而且词尾只有一个

辅音字母的动词，应双写最后一个辅音字母，再加 -ing
