A little about Plagiarism….A little about Plagiarism….

You may not copy and paste anything from a source without using quotes (or indenting long block of text)

You need to give credit to the original author of the work –provide sources (see the plagiarism PowerPoint under Announcements). Use of quotations – minimal.

Make sure you understand and read over the plagiarism PowerPoint if you are unsure about this.

Your next step…Your next step…Start researching using the sources we’ve

discussed.Keep track of the website, author, title, so you

can properly cite in your bibliography. After you have gathered your sources, you will

begin to work on your annotated bibliography.Annotated bibliography is a document that

summarizes your research sources and their relevance, currency, and usefulness to the research project.

You will critically read and analyze the sources you have found. See the example in Unit 3 of how to prepare an annotated bibliography.
