Andrew has been studying, raising and lecturing about animals since 1971. KJ Denhert’s blend of urban folk and jazz has earned her four Independent Music Award nominations and a place on Jazz.com’s list of top female vocalists. With guests Jennifer Vincent on bass and Clifford Carter on keyboards. Discover the fun of communal singing with local recording artist Debbie Lan. Learn part- singing, harmonies, rounds and more. No need to read music; Debbie will teach everything by ear. Together, let’s lift our voices and sing. Bring a picnic dinner and enjoy an old fashioned Ice Cream Social evening with The Big Band Sound under the stars as they recreate the sounds of the big band era, performing classics by Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, Count Basie, Stan Kenton and more. Featuring Professor Louie & The Crowmatix, Big Joe Fitz & Vito Petroccitto, together for the First Time! Three unique sounds. One night of fantastic music. Too Much Fun is a five-piece group of musicians performing music from Cajun, Zydeco, Americana, Old-time and Bluegrass traditions. The band members include Jerome Cimino, Mira Fink, Señor Jim Sullivan, Dr. Romo and Vida Nathanson. A group exhibition featuring paintings and photographs by artists traveling from Japan: Akifumi Tanaka, Showa Okamura, Hisako Noto, Yasuhiko Ishikawa and Kodo Tanaka. There will be a demonstration in the art of Japanese calligraphy and tea ceremony. Japanese treats and refreshments will be served. Guitar legend Les Paul named Frank Vignola to his “Five Most Admired Guitar List” Joining him is guitar whiz Vinny Raniolo, featured in the PBS documentary Four Generations of Guitar . A Conversation with Brenda Bufalino: Tap Dancing in America. A world renowned trailblazer in the renaissance of jazz and tap dance, Ms. Bufalino has made her name as an author, actress, producer, director, vocalist and performance artist.
