In the 1940’s, Socilite and Philantropist, (Narcissa) Florence Foster Jenkins aspires to become an opera singer, she unfortunately

misses the mark, but doesn’t seem to realize. She is known, to this day, as the world’s worst operatic soprano. But with the support of her accomptimist, Cosme McMoon, Florence soars

to heights she’s never known.

Troy PowellDirector

Troy has been the director of Theatre at Union Public Schools for 20 years. He has directed over 100 plays and musicals and over 30 short lms. His students are featured on and off Broadway, in various television and movie roles as well as directing and-producing in the industry. He has been nominated for Union’s High School Teacher of Year. He has also been nominated twice for the Tony Award for Excel-lence in Theatre Education in 2016 and 2017.

Jeff SpatzTechnical Design DirectorJeff attended University of Tulsa studying Technical Theatre with a concentration in lighting design. He has worked in several technical positions including lighting design-er, master electrician and proper-ties master for several productions. After TU he moved into television where he spent more than 15 years working in production and manage-ment. His position involves manag-ing productions and technicians for Repertory Theatre, All School Mu-sical, Middle School Musical as well as teaching advanced theatre and stagecraft at Union High School.
