The University Relations (UR) team includes:• Halisi Byrd – Campus Recruitment Manager (Southern Cal/Texas)
• Kim Braziel – Campus Recruiter (Northern Cal/Pacific Northwest)
Our Mission: University Relations (UR) develops and maintains relationships with
key college staff and student organizations to build a pipeline of high-performing and
high-potential talent for current and future hiring needs.
UR Staff of two supports hiring bank-wide including:• Training Programs (Commercial, Consumer, & Operations)
• Student Intern Program (All business Units)
• Direct Hires
UR hiring is cyclical and works in alignment with the academic calendar. • Receive referrals year round
• Actively recruit September through March
• Hire January through June

UB College Network
• The Avature CRM portal allows students to join the UB College
Network by creating a profile and uploading their resume
• The UB College Network portal went “live” on November 30, 2010
• Key to building and maintaining the talent pipeline of new college
grads (including referrals) especially during off-cycle recruiting times
• When positions “go live” in ATS - UR team first step is to identify candidates with profiles that match the position and invite to apply

Benefits• Minimal effort to implement and configure
• Profiles are automatically tagged for easy retrieval
• Easy to create profile and upload resume
Leveraging Avature CRM for UR
• Links directly to Avature CRM to capture student information
• Recruiter can manage individual profiles, add tags, match to jobs,
send messages to individual candidate or groups and more!
• 300 students joined the UB College Network during first 60 days
• 500 + UB College Network members as of March 1, 2011
The Future
• Summer 2011: UBCN in review - note key learnings and adjust
accordingly
• Fall 2011: include UB College Network web address on 2011-2012
campus marketing collateral
• Keep the UB College Network “fresh”: manage candidate profiles and
consistently update notes
• Benefit to candidates: easy to create profile, receive timely updates
from UR when positions are posted, announcements of events, etc…
• Benefit to Recruiter: manage pipeline, maintain notes in centralized
location, quickly identify candidates and communicate information
