Dear Parents/Carers

After much consultation we can now give you details of the school’s new uniform which will come into

effect from September 2011.

All students:

*White shirt

*Black tailored trousers

*Black skirt

*Plain black shoes (no trainers or boots)

*Black or white socks #Royal blue school tie striped with house colour

Upper School (Years 10 and 11) #Black V-neck jumper with school logo

Lower School (Years 7, 8 & 9) #Royal blue V-neck jumper with school logo

In September 2011 we will expect all students in Year 7 (current Year 6) and in Year 10 (current Year

9) to wear the new school uniform. Students in other year groups may continue to wear the old uniform

for a further 12 months if they so wish or they may wear the new one. Students may NOT mix and

match the two uniforms. By September 2012, all students must wear the new uniform.

The uniform for PE is also changing, but all current students can continue to wear the present PE

uniform until they choose to replace it. The new PE kit will be as follows:

#Black games shorts with white piping #Girls’ fit games polo shirt – royal blue #Boys’ fit games polo shirt – royal blue #Black tracksuit trousers (optional) #Reversible outdoor games jersey (optional)

Trainers (appropriate for PE and different to school shoes)

In order to ensure that there is no shortfall in the supply of uniform this summer, we would appreciate

an expression of interest from any parents of students currently in Year 7, 8 or 10 who would like

the new uniform for September. Please note – this does NOT constitute an order – we will issue details

of how to order the new uniform later in the term. Parents in receipt of uniform vouchers will be able

to use these as normal.

Please complete the table below only if you intend your child to wear the NEW uniform this September

and return the slip to school by Wednesday 4th May. Students purchasing the new uniform for

September 2011 will receive their school tie free of charge.
