UNIFO RATION PACKSThrough years of experience, UNIFO has continuously improved the Meals Ready To Eat (MRE’s) and its processing technology. From heavy, canned foods and hard tack biscuits, the military meals have evolved into today’s current light, compact and nutritious MRE Packs.

UNIFO has developed the rations packs into lighter, more nutritious and receptive packages, replacing canned food with in-house developed retort products and adding better quality accessories such as fruit bars, isotonic drinks and flameless heaters.

If requested, water purification tablets, sterile water can be also be supplied in our rations.

UNIFO RATION PACKSThe entire system of UNIFO productions are designed for large-scale yet flexible productions to meet the market demands in line with international hygiene standards of ISO: 22000 & HACCP quality standards.

UNIFO retort pouches are of high quality, allowing food to be sealed and cooked inside without ever exposing it to the air again until opened.

This special processing technology allows the food to be sterilized inside the pouch and protected from contamination and loss of flavour.

UNIFO MRE’s are long lasting foods (minimum 2 years) that do not require cold storage. No additives are used to prolong the shelf life.

The multilayered retort pouches are hermetically sealed, able to withstand minimum pressure of 100kg and suitable for airdrop and rough handling. The tear notch at both sides are for easy opening.

UNIFO RATION PACKSUNIFO Standart rations are around 3.000 calories and weighs up to 2 kg. UNIFO Special rations for marines, air forces are around 5.000 calories and weighs up to 1,5 kg

UNIFO Rations are aimed at sustaining an active person for a full 24 hours and provided in packagings that are designed to keep the assembly compact for easy transportation. The various ration components were packed into transparent, or dark non-reflective matt finish bags.

UNIFO RATION PACKSUNIFO have supplied ration packs for different international organizations and armies of the several countries for 20 years. With the highest quality and safety, UNIFO offers varied, balanced, nutritious, complete and tasty menus taking into account the social, cultural and religious diversity of the population. Upon customer request, the package is marked with the word halal or kosher and the related certficate is supplied with each shipment to ensure that the UNIFO MRE’s are reliable and can be consumed safely.

We have a design department, to provide an innovative design according to our customers requests. Based on the volume requirement, each meal can be printed in any language if supplied with the translation.

UNIFO ENERGY DRINKSUNIFO also offers energy drinks in powder forms, which can easliy

dissolve in 200ml - 1 glass- of water.

The lemon and orange powders are healthy and great tasting energy drink powders that delivers a powerful charge of micronutrients to the body's fuel system.

UNIFO powder drinks are simple and effective to use.

UNIFO FLAMELESS HEATER

UNIFO Flameless Ration Heater has been specially developed to allow to eat where there are no cooking facilities available. It is simple and effective to use.

Just place the sealed food pouch with the Flameless Ration Heater in to the outer bag, add a small amount of water and then a chemical reaction takes place, with heat and steam rapidly released.

In 10-12 minutes hot, delicious tasting meal is ready to be eaten straight from the pack itself.

‘Ambient type’ ready to eat meals, packed in a plastic or aluminium trays can also be heated with this type of flameless heater.

 The instructions on the heater bag can be printed in any language if supplied with the translation based on the volume requirement.

In addition to military customers, users include; police, fire, ambulance and search and rescue aid agencies, government departments, outdoor sports fans, plus a wide range of others (sailors, truck drivers, etc.) who like the convenience of having a delicious, hot meal at anywhere and at anytime.

Total weight of UNIFO Ration Heater is less than 40g. It is designed to heat 200-320g vacuum sealed pouched or dish meals or soups.

The outer zipper doypack is made from 3 layers of film to give strength for multiuse.

UNIFO FLAMELESS HEATER

UNIFO RATION PACKSIn disaster situations, food is one of the cornerstones for the population. But there are times when people lost everything they have in an overnight and have to live outdoors. To avoid the cold and rain, or too much sun, they need to have the protection of a shelter immediately.

To survive in the extreme situations, UNIFO also offeres tents and blankets with the ration packs both for humanitarian and defense agencies.

UNIFO, being located at the center of highways, very close to the International Ataturk Airport (Istanbul) and seaports of major cities (Istanbul , Kocaeli) offers a great advantage as the shipments will be quick and efficient in the shortest time at the best cost.

UNIFO: UNIPACK as pouch convertor

UNIPACK started its first production as a pouch convertor in 2010 at Unifo facilities.

As a result of the experiences obtained at Unifo, Unipack offers reclosable flat pouches and doypacks (stand-up pouches) of 40 grams up to 20 kilograms suitable for hot filling, pasteurisation and sterilisation processes.

UNIPACK mainly offers pouches for food sector such as snacks, coffee, sauces, olives, dried fruit, granule, powder and liquid products.

UNIPACK, always follows technological innovations and also provides services in the production of pet food pouches, hygenic refill products, lubricants and cosmetics bags.
