certificate of responsibility in the application that covers one year of your costs at UM.

5. Submit official transcripts, academic records, diplomas, national examination results, certificates or degrees received from all secondary, post-secondary, university and/or professional schools.

6. Submit an official English language test score report demonstrating one of the following:

a. TOEFL = 70iBT, 525 PBT or higher b. IELTS = 6.0 or higher c. MELAB = 74 or higher d. SAT (writing score) = 440 e. ACT (English writing) = 18 f. EIKEN = Pre-1

Undergraduate Pathway (UP) AdmissionThe UP Program is for students who want to enroll in a UM bachelor degree program and have an advanced level of English proficiency but are below the minimum requirement for full admission. 1. Complete the UM International Undergraduate Application. 2. Submit a complete admission application and the US $30 application fee.

Conditional AdmissionConditional Admission is for students who want to enroll in a UM bachelor degree program but do not meet the minimum requirement for full admission/UP admission or do not have an English language test score.
