Hombre intenta hacer estallar avión cerca de Detroit

WASHINGTON – Un pasajero de Northwest Airlines trató de hacer estallar un avión el 25 de diciembre mientras estaba próximo a aterrizar en el aeropuerto de Detroit, informaron oficiales de seguridad nacional.

De acuerdo a información oficial, los pasaje-ros del avión detuvieron al hombre, identificado como Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, un ciuda-dano de origen nigeriano de 23 años de edad.

El vuelo había partido de Nigeria el 24 de diciembre y había hecho escala en Amsterdam. Su destino final era Detroit. Había 278 pasajeros abordo.

Abdulmutallab es un joven de familia acomoda-da que estuvo estudiando en Inglaterra. Su padre, un reconocido banquero de Nigeria, alertó a las autoridades estadounidenses sobre las creencias religiosas de su hijo. Un oficial gubernamental dijo que el padre no tenía información específica sobre las actividades de su hijo, por lo que no fue coloca-do en la lista de personas a quienes se les prohibe volar. Tampoco se tenía información suficiente para revocar su visa, la cual había sido emitida en junio de 2008 y expiraba en junio de 2010.

Por su parte, el presidente Barack Obama hizo a un lado sus vacaciones de fin de año por unos momentos para demandar respuestas sobre por qué los operativos de inteligencia nunca detecta-ron el posible peligro de este supuesto terrorista.

Oficiales de la administración están anali-zando toda la información, buscando dónde estuvo la falla que permitió que Abdulmutallab abordara un avión hacia Estados Unidos.

El periódico New York Times reportó en sus ediciones del 30 de diciembre que el gobierno había recibido información de inteligencia de Yemen antes de Navidad, en la que los líderes de una rama de al-Qaida habían hablado de “un nigeriano” que estaba siendo preparado para un ataque terrorista. El periódico dijo que la información no incluía el nombre del nigeriano.

De acuerdo a las autoridades Abdulmutallab tenía un aparato pegado a su cuerpo que contenía un explosivo muy potente. Las acusaciones con-tra Abdulmutallab indican que cuando el avión se preparaba para aterrizar, él trató de hacer estallar el explosivo, pero solamente empezó un incendio en vez de provocar una explosión.

Abdulmutallab resultó herido en el incidente y fue trasladado a un hospital de Detroit, para recibir atención médica.

La información preliminar de las autoridades indica que el explosivo utilizado era PETN, el mismo explosivo que el terrorista Richard Reid utilizó cuando trató de hacer estallar un vuelo transatlántico en 2001. Reid escondió los explosivos en sus zapatos.

Como resultado de este incidente las autorida-des de aviación decidieron aumentar los niveles de seguridad en los aeropuertos internacionales estadounidenses.

Después de que se dio a conocer el incidente las autoridades de aviación determinaron que los pasajeros no podían tener acceso a su equipaje de mano una hora antes de aterrizar. También determinaron que no podían tener almohadas y cobijas con ellos en la última hora y no se podía hacer uso del baño en ese mismo periodo

de tiempo.En los aeropuertos las medidas incluyeron una

revisión más a fondo del equipaje, en algunos casos incluyendo revisiones manuales.

Abdulmutallab está acusado de intentar des-truir o dañar un avión y de colocar un aparato destructivo en el avión.

De acuerdo a amigos de Abdulmutallab en Inglaterra, el joven defendió los ataques del 11 de septiembre.

Un amigo dijo que el sospechoso de terroris-mo había defendido los ataques con los aviones al decir que las tropas estadounidenses que se encontraban en Arabia Saudita desde 1991 ha-bían “humillado” a los musulmanes.

Un hermano de Abdulmutallab, quien no fue identificado por nombre, dijo que “los puntos de vista extremistas sobre religión” que tenía su hermano habían empeorado una separación con su familia después de que se graduó de la Universidad colegio de Londres con un título de ingeniería. El supuesto terrorista también había abandonado sus estudios de maestría en Dubai.

De cuerdo al periódico nigeriano This Day, Abdulmutallab dijo a su familia que quería irse a un país árabe a aprender el idioma, y que había encontrado un curso alternativo en Yemen que le tomaría siete años terminar.

Man tries to blow up airplane near DetroitUNA VOZ STAFF

WASHINGTON – A Northwest Airlines pas-senger tried to blow up a plane Dec. 25 while it was getting ready to land at Detroit’s airport, according to National Security officers.

The officers said several passengers were able to restrain the suspect, identified as Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, a 23 year-old Nigerian citizen.

The flight had departed from Nigeria Dec. 24 and had stopped in Amsterdam before coming to Detroit. There were 278 passengers on board.

Abdulmutallab is a young man from a wealthy family that had been studying in the United Kingdom. His father, a well known banker in Nigeria, had warned American officials about his son’s religious beliefs. A government official said that the father didn’t have specific informa-tion about his son’s activities and that’s why the man wasn’t placed in the no-fly list. The govern-ment didn’t have enough information either that would justify revoking Abdulmutallab’s visa, which had been issued in June 2008 and was set to expire in June 2010.

President Barack Obama made some time during his winter break to demand answers about how intelligence operations didn’t detect the red flags about this alleged terrorist.

Administration officials are analyzing data available, looking for failings that allowed Abdulmutallab to board a plane to the United States.

The New York Times reported Dec. 30 that

the government had received intelligence in-formation from Yemen before Christmas. This information said that some leaders from an al-Qaida branch had talked about “a Nigerian” that was being prepared for a terrorist attack. The newspaper said the information didn’t in-clude the name of the Nigerian man.

According to authorities, Abdulmutallab had a device attached to his body, which contained a very powerful explosive. The charges against Abdulmutallab describe that when the plane was making the final approach to the runway, the suspect tried to detonate the explosive, but the device only caught fire and didn’t explode.

Abdulmutallab was hurt in the incident and was taken to a Detroit-area hospital to receive medical care.

Adbulmutallab has been charged with intent to destroy an aircraft and with placing a de-structive device on an aircraft.

Preliminary information from authorities indicates that the explosive used in the device was PETN, the same chemical used by terror-ist Richard Reid when he tried to blow up a trans-Atlantic flight in 2001. Reid had hidden the explosive inside his shoes.

As a consequence of this incident, aviation authorities have decided to increase the secu-rity measures at all international airports in the United States.

Authorities determined that passengers can-not have access to their carry-on luggage dur-ing the last hour of the flight. They also are prohibited from having pillows and blankets

with them during the last part of the flight and passengers cannot use the lavatory in the last hour of the flight.

Meanwhile at airport terminals the screen-ings are more thorough, with more bags being checked manually and more passengers being patted down.

According to some of Abdulmutallab’s friends in England, the man defended the Sep-tember 11 attacks.

A friend who was not identified said that Abdulmutallab had justified the plane attacks against the twin towers on September 11, say-ing that American troops that had been in Saudi Arabia since 1991 had “humiliated” Muslims.

One of Abdulmutallab’s brothers, who was not named, said that his brother’s “extreme views about religion” had widened a rift be-tween him and his family after he graduated from University College London with an engi-neering degree and after he had dropped out of a postgraduate course in Dubai.

According to the Nigerian newspaper This Day, Abdulmutallab told his family that he wanted to go to an Arab country to learn Ara-bic, and that he had found an alternative course in Yemen that would take him seven years to complete.

“We know Farouk’s extreme views and were always apprehensive of where it may lead him to,” he told This Day.

“He has maintained his distance from us and we never bothered him much. He always want-ed to be left alone, so we respect his wishes.”

Attempted child abduction at Aurora grocery store

AURORA – Aurora Police and the Kane County State’s Attorney have charged a 61 year-old Aurora man with attempted child abduction after an incident Dec. 26, at a west side grocery store.

Stephen P. Sweigart of the 900 block of Lenwood Court, was also charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, ten counts of unlawful use of a weap-on, unlawful possession of cannabis, and two counts of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Both the aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and cannabis charges are felonies; the others are misdemeanors.

According to charging documents, at about 8:50 p.m., Sweigart allegedly ap-proached an eight year-old boy who was inside the Jewel-Osco in the 1900 block of West Galena Boulevard and engaged him in a conversation about some toys the child was playing with. It was during the conversation that Sweigart alleg-edly asked the boy to come home with him but the boy refused and Sweigart left the store. The boy’s mother and 11 year-old sister were in one of the checkout lanes and apparently saw Sweigart talking with the eight year old. When the mother found out was allegedly said to her son, she alerted store employees who called Aurora Police.

Meanwhile, a 43 year-old Aurora man who learned of the incident, followed Swei-gart’s vehicle and called 911. A responding Aurora Police Officer spotted Sweigart in the vehicle which was parked in his driveway and when he approached, he smelled burnt cannabis coming from the vehicle. The officer secured permission from Sweigart to search the vehicle and when he did, he located two handguns, one of which was loaded; along with several boxes of ammunition, numerous “throwing stars” used in the martial arts, and drug paraphernalia. Officers also found adult-oriented toys, various items of lingerie, and children’s toys in the minivan.

As part of the investigation Sweigart’s home was searched, and police recovered about 74 grams of cannabis along with additional drug paraphernalia.

Sweigart’s bond was set at $50,000 and he is being held at the Kane County Correc-tional Center in St. Charles.

El sospechoso comenzó a platicar con el me-nor sobre algunos juguetes con los que jugaba el niño. Durante la conversación

Sweigart supuestamente le pidió al niño que lo acompañara a su casa, pero el niño se negó y Sweigart dejó la tienda. La madre y la hermana del niño, de 11 años de edad, estaban en una de las cajas registradoras y aparentemente vieron a Sweigart cuando hablaba con el niño. Cuando la mujer se enteró de lo que supuestamente platicaron Sweigart y su hijo, de inmediato avisó a los empleados de la tienda, quienes llamaron a la policía.

Mientras tanto, un residente de Aurora de 43 años de edad que se enteró del incidente siguió el auto de Sweigart y llamó al número de emergencia 911. Un oficial de la policía de Aurora que respondió al llamado vio a Sweigart dentro de su auto, que estaba estacionado en su cochera. Cuando el oficial se acercó, detectó un olor de marihuana quemada que salía del auto. El oficial obtuvo la autorización de Sweigart para catear el auto, donde encontró dos armas, una de las cuales estaba cargada, además de varias cajas de municiones, nu-merosas “estrellas ninja” que se utilizan en artes marciales, y accesorios para drogas. Los oficiales también encontraron juguetes para adultos, varios artículos de lencería y juguetes para niños en el vehículo.

Una búsqueda dentro de la casa del sospechoso resultó en el descubrimiento de alrededor de 74 gramos de marihuana y accesorios para uso de drogas.

Aumenta tasa de desempleo en JolietREDACCIÓN UNA VOZ

El número total de personas sin empleo en la ciudad ha subido de 8 mil 635 en septiembre a 8 mil 805 en octubre y 8 mil 989 en noviembre.

According to information provided by the Illinois Department of Employment Security, the unemployment rate in Joliet increased to more than 12 percent in November.

The total number of people in the city without a job grew from 8,635 in September to 8,805 in October to 8,989 in November.

Maureen O’Donnell, IDES director, said in a written statement that these numbers, and the ups and downs in the unemployment rate, are a reflection of something that usually happens during a recession.

¿No tiene licencia? Su automóvil puede ser remolcado

ELGIN – Una ley que fue aprobada en Elgin en el otoño puede tener como consecuencia que su auto sea remolcado si es detenido por la policía manejando bajo ciertas circunstancias.

Esta ordenanza ha agregado multas más severas para personas que son arrestadas por manejar sin una licencia válida, con una licencia suspendida o revocada o por manejar bajo la influencia del alcohol o las drogas.

Si los automovilistas son detenidos por manejar bajo la influencia o sin una licencia válida, están sujetos a un “remolque administrativo” de sus automóviles y una multa de 500 dólares.

Si a esta cantidad se le agrega el costo del remolque al corralón que es de 150 dólares, los alrededor de 100 dólares que cuesta salir de la cárcel, además de las cuotas de la corte y el costo de tener el vehículo en el corralón, un incidente como este puede salir bastante costoso.

La ordenanza fue implementada para que los automovilistas lo piensen dos veces antes de manejar si no tienen licencia.

La Ciudad de Elgin decidió adoptar esta medida a finales de octubre, después de que se registrara un aumento en el número de accidentes en los que los automovilistas responsables estaban manejando bajo la influencia del alcohol o las drogas y sin una licencia válida.

Driving without a license? Your car can be towed

ELGIN – A new ordinance that was passed in Elgin in the fall can have your car towed if you are stopped by the police for driving under certain circumstances.

This ordinance has added stiffer fines to drivers who drive without a valid license, with a suspended or revoked license or for driving under the influence.

If drivers are stopped for driving under the influence or without a valid drivers license, they are subject to an “administrative tow” of their vehicles and a $500 fine.

A traffic stop like this can be pretty expensive if you add the $150 towing fee, about $100 for getting out of jail, court fees and storage fees for the car.

The ordinance was implemented to make drivers think twice before getting behind the wheel without a valid license.

Elgin officials decided to pass the ordinance in late October, after there was an increase in the number of accidents caused by drivers who where under the influence and didn’t have a valid drivers license.

Those who are found in violation of the ordinance have 10 days to contest the decision at an administrative hearing before a city-appointed official. The official’s decision about the case is final and only the hearing officer can dismiss the violation charges.

““People are just fed up with getting hit by people who are not licensed,” Elgin Sgt. Matt Udelhoven said to the Beacon News. “If you want to drive suspended or revoked or with no license, it’s going to run you a couple grand when the whole process is over.”

Con el Año Nuevo también entran en vigor nuevas leyes en el estado de Illinois. Dos de ellas afectan directamente a los automovilistas que gustan de hablar por telé-fono o enviar mensajes de texto mientras manejan.

A partir del 1 de enero los conductores no podrán enviar mensajes de texto mientras manejan y tampoco podrán usar su teléfono celular mientras transitan por una zona escolar o una zona de construcción de carreteras.

Además, es ilegal para los usuarios de teléfonos celulares navegar por Internet, escribir, enviar o leer menajes de texto, mensajes instantáneos y correo electrónico mientras manejan.

La prohibición también incluye aparatos de organización personal conocidos como PDAs y computadoras portátiles.

Esta prohibición no incluye el uso de sistemas de posicionamiento global o sis-temas de navegación. Tampoco incluye a automovilistas que hagan llamadas a los servicios de emergencia para reportar un accidente o a automovilistas que estén esta-cionados en la orilla del camino.

Las investigaciones demuestran que manejar mientras se usa un teléfono celular constituye una seria distracción y reduce el desempeño del chofer.

La Administración de Seguridad en el Tráfico por las Carreteras Nacionales calcula que los automovilistas distraídos, cualquiera que sea la razón de esta distracción, contribuyen al 25 por ciento de todos los accidentes de tránsito reportados a las au-toridades.

“Cada vez que un chofer quita sus ojos del camino, aún si es por unos segundos, ponen sus vidas y las vidas de otros en peligro”, dijo Michael Witter, Administrador Regional de Seguridad en las Carreteras Nacionales. “El manejar distraído es algo inseguro, irresponsable y sus consecuencias pueden ser devastadoras”.

Las leyes fueron firmadas por el gobernador Pat Quinn el 6 de agosto de 2009.

With the New Year come new laws in the State of Illinois. Two of them deal directly with drivers who like to talk on the phone or send text messages while driving.

As of Jan. 1, these new laws ban motorists from sending text messages while driving, and make it illegal to talk on a cell phone while driving through a highway construction zone or school zone.

In addition, it will become illegal to compose, send or read text messages, instant messages and e-mail on a cell phone or surf the internet while driving. The ban also includes personal digital assistants and portable or mobile computers, but does not include global positioning systems (GPS) or navigation systems.

Those who use a cell phone to report an emergency on the road or who are parked on the side of the road are not included in this ban.

Research shows driving while using a cell phone poses a serious distraction and reduces driver performance.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration estimates that driver distraction from all sources contributes to 25 percent of all police-reported traffic crashes.

“Every time a driver takes their eyes or their focus off the road - even for just a few seconds – they put their lives and the lives of others in danger,” said National Highway Traffic Safety Regional Administrator Michael Witter. “Distracted driving is unsafe, irresponsible and its consequences can be devastating.”

Cuauhtemoc Blanco, the forward soccer star who currently plays for Veracruz, became enraged when officials from Club America prevented Chilean player Reinaldo Navia from signing with Blanco’s team Tiburones. Jaime Ordiales, sports director for America, said that it was sad that Blanco was making such accusations “even more when he doesn’t know exactly how these transactions go.”

Navia had been introduced as a reinforcement player with Tibu-rones Rojos, but due to a “gentleman’s agreement” America denied the authorization for the player to move to Veracruz, the team also requested $300,000 in exchange for the player.

This situation was very difficult for Blanco, who considered the whole deal as unfair and accused America’s vice president Yon de Luisa of being the responsible party in this situation.

“I have known Yon for a long time and I how how bad a person he is. When he arrived with America I thought he was a great guy and now, he is a person that has been creating a conflict with the player, and I can say this to his face,” Blanco said.

He remembered that during his stay with America he knew that De Luisa didn’t treat well the young elements of the team.

Blanco said that instead of worrying about their profits, the team’s officers should focus their energies in creating a competitive team and obtain a league title.

“I don’t know if this is a business venture of (Jaime) Ordiales or Yon de Luisa, the truth is that this is a very complicated situation and I hope they can give a title to the fans, because they barely made it to the post season, but I believe they didn’t qualify in the previous two or three years and that’s what they should worry about, not about creating business ventures,” he said.

Blanco said he considers these kind of situations will be eradicated from Mexican soccer “the day that we have a players’ union and we are strong. Really I think those gentlemen’s agreements are unfair, because everywhere else in the world when your contract expires you are free to sign with the team you want.”

Blanco said that he didn’t have any problems when he signed a contract with Santos Laguna to play the posteason with them in the Apertura 2008 tournament, and the same was true when he signed with Veracruz.

“I thing that maybe they were afraid of messing around with me, but as I said, I love the institution, I love America and I have a very good relationship with Emilio Azcarraga, but I think the team and Azcarraga are the only ones worth it, because I think things are being handled badly in America,” he said.

In response to Blanco’s comments, Ordiales said to the Goal Web site that “I found out about Cuauhtemoc’s comments about me and about Yon the Luisa and I heard them with a heavy heart because we have known each other for a long time, and making these kind of comments, that are a lie, hurt people.”

However, Ordiales said that the doors of America are not closed for Blanco “he has always had the doors open, and if he had wanted it, he could have been here this year.”

“Conozco a Yon desde hace mucho tiempo y sé la mala persona que es. Cuando llegó al América se me hacía un gran tipo y ahora, se lo digo de frente, no tengo ningún problema, ahora es una persona que creo que le está haciendo daño al jugador”, manifestó.

Recordó que durante su estadía con el conjunto capitalino tuvo conocimiento que De Luisa no trató de la mejor forma a elementos jóvenes.

Blanco indicó que más que preocuparse por tener ganancias, los altos mandos “azulcremas” deberían enfocarse en hacer un equipo competitivo y conseguir el título.

“No sé si es negocio de (Jaime) Ordiales o de Yon de Luisa, la verdad que es una situación muy complicada y espero que le den un título a la afición americanista, apenas ahorita calificaron a la liguilla, pero creo que tenían como dos o tres años sin calificar y eso es lo que deben de preocuparse, no hacer negocios”, expresó.

Consideró que este tipo de situaciones terminarán en el futbol mexicano, “el día que nosotros tengamos una unión de jugadores y estemos fuertes. Realmente a mí se me hace una injusticia el pacto de caballeros, porque en todas parte del mundo cuando tú terminas un contrato con tu equipo, ya te puedes contratar con el que tú quieras”.

Blanco explicó que él no tuvo ningún problema para contratarse con Santos Laguna para disputar la liguilla del Apertura 2008, ni ahora con Veracruz.

“Creo que a lo mejor tenían miedo de meterse conmigo, pero como te digo, yo quiero a la institución, al América, y tengo una muy buena relación con Emilio Azcárraga, pero creo que es lo único que se salva ahí, la institución y Emilio Azcárraga, porque yo creo que se están haciendo muy mal las cosas en el América”, estableció.

Por su parte Ordiales dijo al portal de internet Goal que “Me enteré de los comentarios que hizo Cuauhtémoc hacia mi persona y sobre Yon de Luisa (vicepresidente del equipo) y las escucho con mucha tristeza porque nos conocemos desde hace mucho tiempo y verter ese tipo de comentarios que de entrada son mentiras pues lástima”. A pesar de las declaraciones de Blanco, Ordiales aclaró que en ningún momento el “Temo” se cierra las puertas “siempre las ha tenido abiertas, es más si hubiera querido este mismo año hubiera estado aquí”.

AURORA – La celebración del Día de los Reyes Magos continúa arraigada en la comunidad hispana de Aurora.

Para celebrar esta fecha tan señalada, La Quinta de los Reyes ha organizado su 4a. Entrega Anual de los Santos Reyes, a realizarse el 6 de enero a las 6 p.m. en el restaurante.

“El objetivo de esta entrega de juguetes es llegar a la gente que no tuvo dinero para comprarles algo a sus hijos”, dijo Jesús Sánchez, dueño de La Quinta de los Reyes.

Este año La Quinta cuenta con el apoyo de diversas compañías y organizaciones para hacer realidad los sueños de niños hasta los 12 años de edad en Aurora. Sánchez espera que con el apoyo de la comunidad y diversos patrocinadores se pueda lograr la meta de regalar más de mil juguetes.

La Chicanita Bakery, Cano Container, Toyota y la Cámara Hispana de comercio de Aurora se han unido a La Quinta en este esfuerzo. Sin embargo, necesitan de la colaboración del público. Las personas interesadas en donar juguetes nuevos, sin envolver, pueden hacerlo en el restaurant, 36 E. New York Street, Aurora.

AURORA – The Three Kings festivity is still pretty much alive in Aurora’s Hispanic community.To celebrate this festivity in which children receive gifts from the Magi, La Quinta de los Reyes Restaurant

will host its 4th Annual Three Kings celebration, which will be held Jan. 6 at 6 p.m. at the restaurant. At this time the Magi will distribute toys to area children.

“The reason for doing this is because we want to get to the people who didn’t have the means to purchase toys for their children,” Jesus Sanchez said. He is the owner of La Quinta de los Reyes.

This year several businesses and organizations have joined La Quinta to distribute more toys to children 12 years and under.

Sanchez hopes that with contributions from the community and sponsors they can reach their goal of giving away over 1,000 toys.

La Chicanita Bakery, Cano Container, Toyota and the Aurora Hispanic Chamber of Commerce are collabo-rating with La Quinta for this event, but they also need the community’s help. People can help their efforts by donating new, unwrapped toys at the restaurant, 36 E. New York Street, Aurora.

Mexican singer and actress Maite Perroni has been elected by fans as the 2009 Queen of the Soap Operas in the United States. This award comes in the heels of her participation in the soap opera “Careful with the Angel.”

Perroni garnered 29 percent of the votes in a popular poll organized by a well-known TV network. Other women who have obtained this award in previous years are Lucero, Adela Noriega and Alisson Lozz.

Perroni obtained this award for her first starring role in ‘Careful with the Angel,’ where she shares credit with William Levy, Helena Rojo, Laura Zapata and Ricardo Blume.

Fans of Perroni will see her again in the small screen in 2010 in a new story, ‘My Sin,’ produced by Juan Osorio. This story was popular in Mexico.

Gloria Trevi will be ‘Aventurera’

Actress and producer Carmen Salinas revealed that Gloria Trevi is ready to be Aventurera this year.

Salinas said the agreement came through during Trevi’s wedding cel-ebrations in Monterrey in mid-December.

“It seemns we will start at the end of February or in early March. Everything will be OK,” Salinas said in an interview with Televisa Es-pectáculos.

With Trevi confirmed as the new Aventurera, a question surges. What’s going to happen with Mary Boquitas, who is a castmember and with whom Trevi has a strained relationship?

“Nothing is going to happen with Mary Boquitas,” Salinas said. “They won’t share the stage, because I had made that decision. Mary is going to be on leave, will be promoting her album and will return at a later date.”

Jorge Salinas arrested for attacking his estranged wife

Mexican actor Jorge Salinas was arrested Dec. 27, after he allegedly became physically abusive with his estranged wife during a visit he made to the two children they have in common.

According to the TV program El Gordo y la Flaca, Jorge Salinas was taken to the Office of the Attorney General in Mexico city, where a report was filed about the incident.

According to such complaint. Salinas went to visit his two sons to his estranged wife’s house. When Fatima Boggio didn’t let him see the children, they had an argument that escalated into physical violence.

Salinas, however, denied this information when he was questioned outside the Attorney General’s office.

“No, they didn’t bring me, I came because I had to take care of a personal matter, that issue was taken care of and I left. But I forgot my cell phone and I had to come back, and now I’m leaving,” he said without acknowledging the true reason for being there.

Boggio and Salinas’ divorce hasn’t been finalized yet.

De acuerdo a dicho documento, Salinas fue a visitar a sus dos hijos a casa de su casi ex esposa Fátima Boggio. Cuan-do ella le impidió verlos, se dio un altercado verbal que se convirtió en agresión física.

Sin embargo, Salinas negó los hechos a la salida de la

Procuraduría. “No, no me trajeron, yo me presenté porque tenía que arreglar un asunto personal, se atendió, me fui, olvidé mi celular, regresé y, pues, ya me voy”, dijo el ac-tor, sin reconocer el verdadero motivo de su visita a esta dependencia.

El divorcio entre Boggio y Salinas todavía no está fina-lizado.
