STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP UNIT, FINANCE DIVISION INTERNATIONAL ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY MALAYSIA
SCHOLARSHIP AVAILABLE FOR IIUM UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS
FOR SEM.1, 2013/2014 ELIGIBILITY OF THE SCHOLARSHIP
• Registered as fulltime Undergraduate students
• Not receive any other scholarship
• Not eligible to critical programme(s) offered by the University i.e. related medical program, executive program and other program as determined by the University.
The Undergraduate IIUM UG Ummatic Scholarship is a scholarship awarded to deserving and academically outstanding students, in recognition of their achievement, to study at IIUM.
Who Can Apply?
• Students with excellence academic standing (CGPA 3.6 and above/region/field of study)
• Students with matric no. 091xxxx and above (2nd semester at the kulliyyah level) new intake student is not eligible.
What Is Covered? All fees incur by the University i.e. entrance fee, tuition fee, related fee, monthly allowance, hostel fees & book allowance
Selection process a) Before Enrollment
Identified upon admission process as determined by Scholarship Committee (the process is done by the University Authority)
b) After enrollment Obtaining 2 regular semesters result with CGPA 3.6 and above based on the University general academic workload policy (minimum 15 credit hours) Note: Students from Muslim minority countries with lower CGPA (at least CGPA 3.0) also may apply for the scholarship
Who Can Apply?
• All active students (senior and 2nd semester at the kulliyyah level)
• Students with excellence academic standing with CGPA 3.8 and above based on the University general academic workload policy
• Self-sponsored and loan recipient only (please attached the loan offer letter) What Is Covered?
• Exemption from tuition fee only (The student must maintain a minimum of CGPA 3.8 throughout the semester)
Who Can Apply?
• All active International students with one(1) regular semester result at UG program
• CGPA of 2.5 and above
• Self-sponsored students who are facing financial difficulties What Is Covered?
• Discount of certain percentage (%) of tuition fee subject to approval by the University Authority
ALL APPLICATION FORMS ARE AVAILABLE AT STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP UNIT, FINANCE DIVISION LEVEL 2 STARTING FROM SEPT.26, 2013 TO OCT.2, 2013 ONLY. DULY COMPLETED FORM SUBMIT STARTING FROM OCT.7, 2013 UNTIL OCT.11, 2013.
