UltraTrak is a baggage management

system that can be used at any size of

airport, across a region, or an airline's

entire network.

Advanced baggage management,

reconciliation and tracking using Wi-Fi,

RFID and barcode technologies.

Ultra has unrivalled expertise in the design,

implementation and support of complex

airport and airline baggage management

programmes. UltraTrak provides an optional

interface to FIDS to support flight creation

and realtime update of arrival, departure

and gate/stand information. UltraTrak

can be easily integrated with other Ultra

applications to provide an integrated airport

operational and ground handling solution.

UltraTrak

UltraTrak improves security by

positively matching the bag to the

passenger and can also ensure that

baggage has received the required

level of screening.

In the event a passenger fails to

travel, UltraTrak enables users to

quickly locate and offload the bag thus

reducing departure delays and greatly

reducing misdirected baggage costs.

Passenger baggage can be

segregated by class, destination and,

if applicable, by onward connection,

flight and carrier. Together with the

ability to distribute information to down-

line airports, UltraTrak's segregation

capabilities can greatly improve the

efficiency of baggage handling at an

airline's key hubs.

UltraTrak provides flexible baggage

tracking facilities enabling users to

establish the last known location of

any item of baggage. A full audit trail

of all baggage operations is retained

to monitor process compliance

and identify possible training

requirements.

For short-shipped baggage,

UltraTrak supports expedite

baggage handling in accordance

with local security procedures.

UltraTrak can automatically update

SITA's WorldTracer tracking system.

Arrival bag information screens

allow airline staff to identify potential

problems with delayed inbound

transfers.

Ground handlers access the system

using robust wireless scanners to

perform baggage hall and ramp

operations. Supervisory control is

provided via a web-based workstation

application providing real-time flight

summary information, reports and

global search facilities.
