Pigeon Feverulcerative lymphangitis are caused by corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis, The horse is clearly ill with fever and in pain, and the affected limb swells and develops tracts of multiple draining ulcerative lesions along the leg lymphatic vessels.
Thickening of lymph vessels with multiple nodules , in the limbs , mostly lower limbs . Those nodules may turn to ulcers later .
The bursting nodules can discharge pus containing the causative agent
Swelling of affected limb can be noticed as a result of hindrance of lymph flow from the limb .

ventral midline of the abdomen.
Abscesses contain tan, odor-free
purulent exudate and are usually
well encapsulated.
