Academic Essay Writing & Presentation for University Studies (Pre-sessional) (60 hours)

How to write your PERSONAL STATEMENT

KEY POINTS TO REMEMBER

Î Be selective: You don’t have to try and say EVERYTHING about yourself. Less information can make a stronger message.

Î There are several key ingredients that should be included (See later sections), but feel free to include extra or different information if you feel it makes you SoP stronger.

Î Choose a strong opening – first impressions are important!

Î Write in clear paragraphs.

Î Write strong topic sentences for each paragraph – don’t make the reader guess what the paragraph will be about.

Î Pay attention to spelling and grammar.

Î Don’t write with an ‘emotional’ style, be passionate about your intention, but keep your language calm, neutral and academic.

ขั้นตอนที่ 1 ATAS Certificate

สำาหรับนักเรียนในบางหลักสูตร จะต้องใช้ ATAS Certificate เพื่อใช้ประกอบการยื่นขอวีซ่า: ตรวจสอบหลักสูตรที่ต้อง

ใช้ ATAS Certificate ในการสมัครวีซ่า การขอ ATAS Certificate จะใช้เวลาโดยประมาณ 20 วันในการดำาเนินการ

***เอกสารที่ใช้ยื่นต้องเป็นตัวจริงและเป็นภาษาอังกฤษทั้งหมด ถ้าเอกสารเป็นภาษาอื่นต้องได้รับการแปลจากผู้แปลที่

ได้รับการรับรองจากสถานทูตอังกฤษ และเอกสารทุกอย่างต้องทำาการถ่ายสำาเนาไว้ด้วย

ขั้นตอนการตรวจ IOM

1. ทำา Online registration ผ่านเว็ปไซต์ของ IOM ประเทศไทย 2. เดินทางไปที่ อาคารเกษมกิจ ชั้น 8 ถนนสีลม บางรัก กรุงเทพฯ 10500 โดยขึ้น BTS ไปลงที่สถานี

ศาลาแดง ประตู 3 สังเกตตรงตึก CP จะอยู่ฝั่งตรงข้ามกับอาคารเกษมกิจ (ตึกสีดำาๆ) 3. ทำาการลงทะเบียนกับเจ้าหน้าที่ IOM ทางเจ้าหน้าที่จะให้เอกสารมากรอกและรอเรียกตามคิว ให้อ่าน

ใบ Consent และเซ็นชื่อรับรองตรวจสอบ ชื่อ นามสกุล หมายเลขพาสปอร์ต ให้ถูกต้อง 4. เลือกโรงพยาบาลที่จะไปตรวจมี 2 โรงพยาบาลให้เลือกคือ พญาไท 2 กับ กรุงเทพคริสเตียน (แนะนำา

โรงพยาบาลกรุงเทพคริสเตียน เพราะตั้งอยู่ห่างจากอาคารเกษมกิจเพียง 200 เมตร ซึ่งสามารถเดินได้ ไม่ต้องขึ้น BTS)

5. ไปตรวจสุขภาพตามโรงพยาบาลที่เลือกไว้ รอรับฟิล์ม X-Ray (ห้ามแกะซองออกเด็ดขาดเพราะจะทำาให้ฟิล์มเสียและใช้ไม่ได้)

6. นำาฟิลม์ X-Ray กลับมาที่ IOM ให้เจ้าหน้าที่เพื่อให้คุณหมอตรวจฟิลม์เอกซ์เรย์ 7. ถ้าปอดไม่มีปัญหาทางเจ้าหน้าที่จะออกใบรับรองให้ ชื่อว่า IOM Medical Certificate 8. ถ้าปอดมีปัญหาต้องไปตรวจเสมหะต่อที่กองควบคุมวัณโรค ถนนเจริญกรุง 85 ขั้นตอนนี้อาจจะใช้

เวลานานถึง 3 เดือน แต่หากไม่พบกองควบคุมวัณโรคจะส่งผลไปให้ทาง IOM และจะนัดให้ไปฟังผลถ้าไม่มีปัญหา ทางเจ้าหน้าที่จะออกใบรับรองให้

หมายเหตุ : ระยะเวลาในการรอผลการพิจารณาวีซ่าใช้เวลา 15 วันทำาการ ในกรณีที่ยื่นด่วนใช้เวลา 3 - 5 วันทำาการ โดยที่ผู้สมัครจะต้องชำาระค่าบริการยื่นด่วน 5,200 บาท ที่วีเอฟเอส โดยชำาระเป็นเงินสด

1. กรอกใบสมัคร Online ให้เสร็จสมบูรณ์ และชำาระค่า VISA application ผ่านระบบออนไลน์ เมื่อกรอกวีซ่า Application เสร็จแล้ว จะชำาระเป็นเงิน US Dollar ผ่านบัตรเครดิต
