This is the story of how Lediberg Group have adapted the fruit from the humble

apple tree to create an innovative and sophisticated range of notebooks and lifestyle

products. Before we can invent our sophisticated collection we have to ensure the raw

product is taken through the seasons to ensure a quality product is produced.

Winter - in winter the apple tree rests.

Spring - early Spring and the apple trees branches are covered with small buds of joy.

As Spring warms our orchard, bees are busy pollinating and our apple tree blooms in

all its glory before bearing its fruit.

Summer - as the apples grow bigger they change colour and reveal their round shape.

The crops are nurtured with dedication and experience ensuring the apples grow rich

in nutrients.

Autumn - the apples ripen, the fruits are of a deep colour and after a long wait the

apples have reached maturity and the harvest begins.

The Appeel collection is underpinned by an ecological

philosophy that recognises the value of nature.

The apple skins and cores are the raw base ingredients

of this patented technique. A process that gives new life

and dignity to the less celebrated part of the fruit, which

otherwise would be discarded. These valued residuals are

dried and chopped into powder within 24 hours before the

oxidation process can begin.

From this transformation process, Lediberg Group use the

raw materials to create eco-friendly and environmentally

sustainable apple paper and eco-leather.
