The UIAA Mission Statement…

The UIAA promotes the growth and protection of mountaineering and climbing worldwide by:

- preserving their spirit and traditions - advancing safe and ethical mountain practices - supporting youth participation and the Olympic movement- promoting responsible access, culture and environmental protection.

The strategic plan:

How will the UIAA achieve the goals of its mission statement and serve the member federations?

The questionnaire to federations:

- What are the expectations of the federations from the UIAA?

- Do the services that we offer fulfil the needs of these federations, especially the smaller ones?

The proactive involvement of member federations will determine

a unified vision of our future and our destiny.
