One eneIllyen patrol attempted to intiltrate our lines in the vic of GIMNICH (F 3049) at 20)0 hours 3 March This patrol was intercepted by one of our security outposts In the resulting action one of the Germans _s killed and three taken prisoner one of vmch was wounded Upon interrogashytion one of tne prisoners who was Polish stated that their missions was to gather information also that there was about a half a company holding the town in the general area across the canal Northeast of GDmICH He
