Over the next five years, HR is committed to strengthening our capability in five strategic focus areas, Technology, HR Service Delivery, Total Rewards, Performance and Leave Management, and Data Modernization. Below are specific goals related to each focus area. 5 YEAR STRATEGIC GOALS Improving Technology Implement a new HCM to improve the employee experience with HR core processes that deliver strategic HR services and transactional accuracy and efficiency. Integrate interface systems into new HCM i.e., Background Checks, I9. HR Service Delivery Evaluate HR service delivery model to improve employee experience, accuracy, compliance and efficiency. Centralize certain compliance and high-risk functions i.e., Background Checks, I9 processing, and on-boarding. Total Rewards Implementation of a new modern Benefits portal for benefit election changes and selection. Create a comprehensive pay structure and job family model to ensure equitable and consistent compensation practices for staff that remains market competitive. Conduct a compensation study for the campus to determine potential equity issues and devise a plan for addressing ongoing equity issues regularly. Performance/ Leave Management and Employee Development Continue to reduce the rate of grievances by providing consultation to hiring officials on how to handle performance management issues. Continue efforts to improve compliance of leave management. Create learning paths based on job function or position in a campus Learning Management System. Implement campus wide professional development guidelines. Data Modernization Create Visual Metrics to help in HR people Analysis and Decision Support Strategy using new campus tools, SAS and Tableau. Create dashboards of various HR Demographics.
