Recognition of courses of other Universities by Calicut University-reg

I.REGULARCOURSES

As per the order No.48494/EQ&MG ASST 1/2013/CU dated 23.04.2014, it has been resolved that All Regular degrees of Universities or Deemed to be Universities ( IITs, IISc, NIT, ISER, NISER, NIST etc.) enacted by an act of the State Legislative Assembly or Parliament can be equated with the corresponding degree of this University provided that (a) those courses/programmes must be of the same duration of the courses/programmes of this University, (b) must be of the same nomenclature in the same discipline and (c) must have same eligibility criteria.

II.CORRESPONDENCE/PRIVATE/DISTANCECOURSES

(A) As per the Circular No.GA1/A1/5553/2004 dated 16.06.2011, vide item No.10, The private/external/distance/correspondence courses coming under the Faculty of Arts, Humanities, Languages, Commerce and Management Studies and BSc.Mathematics and MSc.Mathematics under the Faculty of Science of the University of Kerala, MG University, Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit,Kalady and Kannur University are recognised by Calicut University.

(B) In the case of courses of IGNOU, all degrees shall be recognized as equivalent to the degrees of this University, for both higher studies and employment, provided that the normal duration, discipline, nomenclature should be the same of those courses/ programmes offered by this University
