TERM 3 Week 7 GOOD COUNSEL PRIMARY SCHOOL 22nd August, 2017 Tomorrow, Year 5 students travel to Tinaroo Dam on the Atherton Tablelands. They will be camping at Barrabadeen on the edge of the lake. Students will be learning to orienteer, build rafts, canoe, challenge themselves in team building activities and enjoy themselves for three days. Many thanks to Mrs Gallagher, Miss Todd and Mrs Sugars for their organisation of the camp. Today we celebrated Book Week with our Book Character Parade. The event was organised by Mrs Horsford and Mrs Farina assisted by the Student Council. Well done to all who dressed up and so creatively looked like their book character. Maggie is a National and International author, a parenting and resilience expert with a special interest in the early years and adolescence. She is a passionate advocate for the healthy, common sense raising of children that strengthen families and communities. Maggie has a broad perspective of experience that shapes her work, a slightly irreverent sense of humour and a deep depth of knowledge that she shares passionately. Congratulations Bishop James Foley…

Bishop James celebrated his Silver Jubilee of Ordination to the
