FENCING FOR CONSTRUCTION SITE
• Construction sites are full of powerful equipment, sharp tools, and heavy materials. Together, these objects make construction sites extremely dangerous areas for those who do not belong there. Thus, a temporary fence can provide a barrier to protect people from accidental injury as well as prevent theft of expensive equipment located on a construction site.
FENCING IN CONSTRUCTION SITE
• metal mould platform with handrail and wire net fencing
HOARDING
• might be used to separate different functions within a site. Example : creating a barrier between traffic routes and pedestrians.
• can also help to make sites less intrusive and more aesthetically pleasing to people living and working in close proximity
• can minimise disturbances and improve privacy, both for the general public and for workers on site
A CLASS HOARDING
• Provide access control for building sites and restricts access to construction sites to authorised people with appropriate safety training.
• The frame of three horizontal 6’x2’ is supported by Oregon posts attached to concrete counterweights.
• The 17mm ply wood is then screwed or nailed to the frame, fitted with top and bottom capping rail and painted in the appropriate colour.
B CLASS HOARDING
• Provide the ultimate overhead protection for pedestrians.
• They are built over the footpath to safeguard the public from the potential hazard of objects falling off the building site.
PLASTIC ROAD HOARDING
• Works as a barrier for road construction.
ANTI CLIMB FENCING
• can help stop bored youngsters accessing your site and using it as a playground.
• It can also help prevent members of the public inadvertently entering the site.
• As a contractor or site manager you need to protect your tools from passing thieves and ensure the security and safety of the public.
BARB WIRE
• for additional security, add three strands, this sends a strong message about attempting to get into your construction site.
WINDSCREEN FENCE
• Keeping your construction site safe and secure from intruders and unwanted onlookers while protecting your workers and property from the elements
SILT FENCE
• A temporary barrier used to prevent sediment runoff during the construction process.
• It consists of synthetic geotextile fabric attached to T-posts anchored into the ground.
• As water and sediment run down slope, the fence intercepts the flow and promotes sediment accumulation on the uphill or construction side of the fence.
CHAIN LINK FENCE
• The chain link fence is simply a roll of wire which is usually attached to poles dug into the ground for support.
• They offer more protection to construction sites.• Windscreen can be added to the fence to minimize
visibility into a construction, property, thus reducing crime on construction sites.
CHAIN LINK PANEL
• It is an easy and quick option that can also be used for crowd control and as additional security in commercial outlets.
• Given that they are panels, they can be installed in various configurations depending on one’s needs.
• Installation is done using free standing platforms and as a result, no need for drilling holes for installation.
