Page 24: Types of Characters in Literature

New concepts learned In this assignment, I have learned the different

types of characters in literature. I thought there’s only few types of characters until I have this answered. It is quite difficult but as I research on the definition, I could easily think of examples that best depict the specific character. It is my first time to know about caricature as a protagonist and chorus as a type of supporting characters.I also gained insights in putting references and resources of the pictures and definition of terms. Through this, I would be able to credit those who wrote meaning over the internet.

NEW INPUTS18

Page 25: Types of Characters in Literature

This reminds me of… This reminds me of the people who became

a special part of my life. From childhood I remember when me and my friends would talk about scary imaginary creatures like the manananggal I used as an example in shape-shifter. And as I grow, I remember my parents who never forget to show their love to me and always leading me to the right way. In high school, I remember a boy who is not so close to me but never fails to make me laugh in times of difficulties. He acted as the comic relief of my life.

CONNECTIONS19

Page 26: Types of Characters in Literature

Usefulness in real situations Since I have gained new insights, I would

be able to share some of what I have understood to the people who lacks knowledge about the types of characters in literature and also in citing references.I would be able to distinguish the which are the antagonist of my life and what type are they. I would also be able to know and recognize those who support me in times of need. And lastly, I would able to use it in my future career.
