The Ecoport 800 with 4CycleTec uses commercial industry methanol or bio-methanol class AA according to the IMPCA standard. Special supply sources or container sizes are therefore unnecessary. The owner can purchase supplies globally from a local, well-stocked chemicals trader.
Methanol or methyl alcohol (CH3OH) is a colourless and odourless liquid, which, currently, is mainly produced from natural gas. But in particular the possibility for gaining renewable methanol from bio-mass qualifies it as a future-viable, production-flexible and globally available fuel source. Being biodegradable and safe for soil and water, it is very environmentally friendly. Handling it in the field is just as secure as with conventional liquid fuels (petrol, diesel…). As a hydrogen source, it is ideally suited for fuel cells and requires far less effort compared to hydrogen pressure cylinders.
All settings, such as battery type, start-up threshold, container size and many more, are controlled here.
The entire system state, such as battery status, system performance, fuel tank content and various warnings are displayed via the Control Panel.
Equipped with current data interfaces, the Ecoport 800 can be integrated into remote maintenance systems.

Ecoport 800 mit 4CycleTec wird mit handelsüblichem Industrie- oder Biomethanol nach IMPCA- Standard betrieben. Somit sind keine bestimmten Bezugsquellen oder Gebindegrößen zu beachten. Der Bezug kann weltweit vor Ort im gut sortierten Chemikalienhandel durch den Betreiber selbst vorgenommen werden.
Methanol oder Methyl-Alkohol (CH3OH) ist eine farblose Flüssigkeit, die derzeit überwiegend aus Erdgas hergestellt wird. Gerade aber die Möglichkeit aus Biomasse und damit regenerativ Methanol ge-winnen zu können, qualifiziert ihn als zukunftsfesten, in der Herstel-lung flexiblen und bereits weltweit sehr gut verfügbaren Kraftstoff. Er ist biologisch abbaubar und dadurch nicht boden- und wasserge-fährdend. Die Handhabung im Feld ist so sicher wie mit konventionel-len, flüssigen Kraftstoffen (Benzin, Diesel…). Als Wasserstoffträger ist er somit ideal geeignet für die Nutzung in Brennstoffzellen und erfordert wesentlich weniger Aufwand im Vergleich zu Wasserstoff-druckflaschen.

Ecoport 800 mit 4CycleTec wird mit handelsüblichem Industrie- oder Biomethanol nach IMPCA- Standard betrieben. Somit sind keine bestimmten Bezugsquellen oder Gebindegrößen zu beachten. Der Bezug kann weltweit vor Ort im gut sortierten Chemikalienhandel durch den Betreiber selbst vorgenommen werden.
Methanol oder Methyl-Alkohol (CH3OH) ist eine farblose Flüssigkeit, die derzeit überwiegend aus Erdgas hergestellt wird. Gerade aber die Möglichkeit aus Biomasse und damit regenerativ Methanol ge-winnen zu können, qualifiziert ihn als zukunftsfesten, in der Herstel-lung flexiblen und bereits weltweit sehr gut verfügbaren Kraftstoff. Er ist biologisch abbaubar und dadurch nicht boden- und wasserge-fährdend. Die Handhabung im Feld ist so sicher wie mit konventionel-len, flüssigen Kraftstoffen (Benzin, Diesel…). Als Wasserstoffträger ist er somit ideal geeignet für die Nutzung in Brennstoffzellen und erfordert wesentlich weniger Aufwand im Vergleich zu Wasserstoff-druckflaschen.
Sämtliche Einstellungen, wie Batterietyp, Einschaltschwelle,Gebindegröße uvm. werden hier vorgenommen.
Der gesamte Systemzustand, wie Batteriestatus, System-leistung, Tankinhalt und verschiedene Warnhinweise sind über das Control Panel abzulesen.
Ausgestattet mit gängigen Datenschnittstellen kann der Ecoport 800 in Fernwartungssysteme integriert werden.
