Tyco Integrated Security will partner with Thomson Reuters in its global roll out of integrated access control and video surveillance standard systems. Thomson

Reuters is the world’s leading source of intelligent information for decision makers in the financial and risk, legal, tax and accounting, intellectual property and science and media markets. With headquarters in New York and major operations in London and Minnesota, Thomson Reuters employs approximately 60,000 people and operates in over 100 countries. Following an internal reorganization at Thomson Reuters, Tyco Integrated Security was able to extend

its agreement across multiple countries outside the U.S. Building on an existing global relationship, Tyco Integrated Security

proposed an integrated security system featuring Software House C•CURE 9000 access control platform along with American Dynamics IP and Hybrid video surveillance systems. All the equipment will be tied back to the head end equipment based in Minnesota with regional servers throughout the organization. As with most multinational companies, Thomson Reuters’s main goal is to protect people and property, and safeguard the information assets critical to its business. Plans are now in motion for a global master service agreement. There are few global security integrators that can match the worldwide footprint of Thomson Reuters.

Experian selected ADT to install an integrated security solution at its new offices in São Paulo, known as Cede Serasa in Brazil. Experian is the leading global information services company, helping businesses to manage credit risk, prevent fraud, target marketing offers and automate decision making. Experian also helps individuals to check their credit report and credit score, and protect against identity theft. Experian employs approximately 17,000 people. Its corporate headquarters is located in Dublin, Ireland, with operational headquarters in Nottingham, UK; California, US and São Paulo, Brazil. ADT has maintained a steadfast relationship with Experian over the past three years. Experian began its relationship with ADT in the U.S. protecting its data centers and offices, and has since expanded its security installations globally. ADT will install Tyco Security Products’ Software House C•CURE 9000 access control platform integrated with video surveillance. Due to its expansion in Brazil, Experian outgrew its current office and recently purchased a new nine story

building on the Paulista Avenue in the heart of São Paulo to house up to 10,000 employees over the next three years. ADT will help Experian roll out the standard security configuration to other sites in Latin America over the next several months. The one point of contact coupled with the excellent service and support of ADT’s local offices in Latin America helped to win this contract. A while back, a small earthquake rocked the grounds where Experian has offices in Chile. Carlos Margareto was able to lend immediate support locally and helped to restore the security systems in Santiago. ADT will Provide Access Control and Video Surveillance Solutions to Experian in Brazil

ADT China Installs Complete Security Solution at SanDisk

Congratulations to the ADT Commerical and Tyco Security Products China teams for securing the SanDisk Phase II contract. This is the first project win for the China team to provide a complete solution integrating C•CURE 9000 with victor Unified Video Management solution, VideoEdge NVR and Illustra cameras.

SanDisk used Software House access control and Verint video systems for their Phase I project. However, they encountered various problems with the video integration and found the video system to be relatively expensive. ADT took the opportunity to actively promote American Dynamics video systems while TSP product and technical managers helped with the solution and system design, and provided on-site support to ADT. Both teams worked closely with the ADT global team to influence the decision for switching the video systems to American Dynamics solutions. Genting Malaysia Protects Gaming Floor with American Dynamics’ SpeedDome

TSP has worked tirelessly over the last 18 months with the Genting Group to specify the American Dynamics SpeedDome Ultra 8. The efforts paid off when Genting

placed an order with ADT Malaysia for 150 units of SpeedDome Ultra 8 for their latest gaming floor. The SpeedDome is easy to install and maintain, and the replacement process is very fast with no unsightly ladder needed. This helps reduce the down time for the gaming floor and reduces monetary losses for Genting. Overall, Genting is very pleased with the quality and performance of the dome, and is convinced that the SpeedDome Ultra 8 fits their operations best. Congratulations to Jason Tan, Regional Sales Manager, for securing this project.

ADT India Wins Deloitte Project

ADT India has been awarded the contract to install C•CURE 9000 and iSTAR Pro for Deloitte sites in Hyderabad and Bangalore. Deloitte was using a Lenel system but the high recurring cost and post sales support issues provided an opportunity to upsell our system. TSP and ADT teams joined forces to aggressively pursue this project, and we will be replacing 30 controllers at both sites.

CEM AC2000 SE was chosen because it is a powerful and fully integrated security management system, ideal for securing large facilities such as Aycliffe, offering powerful access control, alarm processing, photo badging and integration to third party systems. In addition to the core CEM AC2000 SMS, ADT deployed the CEM AC2000 AED (Alarm Event Display) application to run on the management platform. This provides a graphical and textual representation of the

status of all alarms and events across the entire system. ADT deployed CEM’s S610f biometric fingerprint readers and DCM (Door Control Modules) to help ensure both the privacy and safety of those in the secure care facility. The team members involved in this project are Philip Verner, Regional Director of Sales, CEM Systems and Tracy Burtwell, National Accounts Director, ADT.

Strategic Discussions on Key Product Initiatives for Retail Space

Tyco Security Products hosted a collaborative meeting with Mike Creedon, VP of Retail Sales for Tyco Integrated Security; Tony Mamone, Director of Project Resources & Strategic Accounts; Vince Scarpelli, Video Product Manager and the Tyco Security Products Retail Team in their Westford office. TSP Product Management, Sales and business development prepared Tyco Integrated Security for the launch of victor and VideoEdge v4.2. Product Management also presented product roadmaps for their American Dynamics brands while Tyco Integrated Security provided feedback and input for future features and integrations required for the retail space.

Hosted and Managed Access Control a HUGE success in North America!

Aycliffe Secure Centre selects CEM Systems AC2000 SE (Standard Edition)

Tyco Security Products CEM Systems and ADT installed and managed a full end-to-end deployment of CEM’s AC2000 SE (Standard Edition) Security Management System (SMS) and biometric fingerprint readers to help protect and secure Aycliffe Secure Centre premises.   Aycliffe Secure Centre is a provider of comprehensive secure care facilities for young people who are between the ages of 11 and 17. It offers high quality, secure accommodation, as well as education and assessment prior to the reintegration of adolescent individuals back into the community.

Launch of Free Illustra Camera License Promotion for HDVR and VideoEdge around the globe.

We launched a free license promotion globally on June 13, 2012. Order any American Dynamics Illustra IP camera or encoder for ANY VideoEdge NVR or HDVR recorder and the camera license will be included at no additional charge. The promotion is valid on all orders

received and shipped through December 31, 2012, and only applies if cameras are purchased at customer standard discounted price.

Visonic launched in Latin America starting with the Mexico Market

There has been tremendous excitement since TSP acquired Visonic. The revolutionary intrusion technology provides the most robust wireless technology in the world. It provides the reliability of wired with unprecedented ease of install even in the most difficult environments. ADT Latin America is rolling out the new TSP product line in Mexico with the first orders in Q4 of FY12 and the full training and launch continuing into early Q1 FY13. To prepare for the launch, product and engineering teams across four countries closely collaborated to finalize requirements and conduct final approval testing. Watch for future updates as we roll-out this platform across the region.

Great Collaboration for Events in Singapore

Over the last couple of months, ADT and TSP have jointly hosted two customer events culminating with the Fire & Security Inaugural Financial Security Symposium for Asia with senior representatives from 18 banks. This was a fantastic opportunity to get three teams in front of the customers demonstrating our unified strength and the value we can bring to the customers. Both events received good response and positive feedback from the customers. North America “15 for 15” iPad Sales Promotion

In May, Tyco Integrated Security launched the new sales promotion “15 for 15” which was designed to drive sales of Hosted and Managed Access Control. For every 15 doors that a sales rep sold, he/she received a new 32G iPad 3. The objectives of the sales contest was to support the sales representatives’

understanding of Hosted and Managed Access, create opportunities for the sales reps to demonstrate and sell Hosted and Managed access control, to increase sales and to reward sales for their performance. The “15 for 15” was so successful that we added eight more iPads to the promotion. We are pleased to announce the 18 sales reps who faced the challenge head on and were able to secure 15 doors or more.

conducted a live demonstration featuring the CEM access control platform, VideoEdge NVR and Illustra camera with Proximex. The turnout was great and the event was a huge success.

Additional technical training was provided from the European training center to 15 technicians from Belgium and eight from the Netherlands, with additional technicians planning to be trained in the near future. All who attended the training received either Level 1 or Level 2 training.

Organizers of the event, Els Verhoeven, EMEA Strategic Account Manager, and Cynthia van Diejen-Bijlo Marketing & Communication Manager for ADT in the Benelux, received very positive feedback following the training. In fact, the training was so thorough it enabled the sales team to quickly prepare quotes. Orders came in rather quickly as a result of this training.

Both countries will soon have plenty of product experience to cultivate a thriving C•CURE 9000 partner program. The launch packs from the training have been published on the ADT BNL intranet for everyone to access and become more familiar with the product’s features and benefits.

Global Account Seminar Aimed at New Technology Implementation

The Global Account Seminar sponsored by Tyco Security Products and ADT is aimed at educating security managers from various verticals, mainly transportation, on how they can implement new technology to quantify the business value of their security systems as well as getting more out of the system. Tyco Security Products presented the key elements and benefits of distributed network architecture and discussed how Software House C•CURE 9000 Enterprise can help.

The discussions involved how command and control can be achieved with Physical Security Information Management (PSIM), key security trends and implications of convergence in IT and security technologies. Representatives of both organizations also

C•CURE 9000 Training Event in Belgium and the Netherlands Well Attended

A one-day sales event was held earlier this year in Belgium and the Netherlands to launch the C•CURE 9000. The sales teams gathered at the Groot-Bijgaarden Hotel in Belgium and the Netherlands team met on site to receive launch information and training on the C•CURE 9000.

Fourteen reps from the ADT Netherlands sales team and twelve reps from the ADT Belgium sales team were in attendance for a presentation given by Stuart Bettle, Tyco Security Products Sales Product Training Manager. In his enthusiastic style, Stuart conveyed the features C•CURE 9000 system and made it very easy to understand – while sprinkling the information with a bit of humor.
