New X-tremeGENE HP Reagent – High Performance DNA Transfection

Improve your success rate with X-tremeGENE HP DNA Transfection Reagent from Roche. This new high-performance reagent is an optimized formulation for transfecting a broad range of eukaryotic cells, including insect cells and many hard-to-transfect cell lines, including MEF, MCF7, HepG2, HeLa, K-562, and U-937.

Achieve new levels of transfection efficiency for difficult-to-transfect cell lines (see Figures 1 and 2).

Benefit from an easy-to-use reagent, free of animal-derived components and active in serum-containing medium.

Increase experimental throughput using a simple and fast protocol (see Figure 3).

New X-tremeGENE 9 Reagent – High Cell Survival

Due to its low cytotoxicity, minimal optimization, and high transfection efficiency in commonly used cell lines, e.g. CHO-K1, HEK-293, NIH-3T3 and COS-7, even in the presence of serum, X-tremeGENE 9 DNA Transfection Reagent is perfectly suited for applications in all fields of cellular analysis.

Figure 4: High cell survival using X-tremeGENE 9 DNA Transfection Reagent. HeLa cells were transfected with X-tremeGENE 9 Reagent and two different competitor reagents. Reagent cytotoxicity was measured using the Roche LDH Cytotoxicity Detection Kit (LDH). The applied ratios of µl reagent to µg DNA are indicated. X-tremeGENE 9 DNA Transfection Reagent showed the lowest cytotoxic effect.
