Recruitment information from

Meredith Purser, CCD:

Our workshop is August 2-9. If

anyone wanted to send snacks,

notes of encouragement, etc., the

girls would really appreciate it. If

there are any local alumnae with

recruitment know-how, they can

contact me to see how they can be

used!

Recruitment is from August 10-16

(two days each for Ice Water Teas,

Philanthropy, and Skit, one day

for Preference. We are only al-

lowed 15 mothers/

alumnae in the house

at any time during

recruitment party

days, so if anyone

wants to help, they

can just call or email

me to find a spot!

We'd love to have

them!

Bid Day is August 17

at 10am.

This summer, we

really need someone

to make new ritual

garb. We are holding

dual ceremonies now

because of our pledge class sizes

(120 this year probably!), and we

are short on our "clothing" since

we have to have a total of 18

SETS! We have 16 sets in good

condition, but we could use a few

for backup. I would like to have 4-

6 new sets made for the fall. I can

provide the pattern and instruc-

tions if someone wants to help out

with that.

I am also looking for someone in

the Tuscaloosa/Birmingham area

that could serve as Ritual Advisor.

It requires availability to attend

rituals and practices in fall and

spring, so long-distance advising

would be difficult in most cases.

Please go to the website and read

the information provided on Delta

Zeta Criteria for Membership

Congratulations to all of our awesome Alabama ladies—whether you were from our collegiate chapters and moved

away or if you live in our state currently. What a great accomplishment to be celebrating one of these milestones.

The milestones recognized are: Ten Year - celebration of ten year anniversary of initiation, Silver—celebration of

twenty-fifth year anniversary of initiation, Gold—celebration of fifty year anniversary of initiation, Pearl— celebra-

tion of sixty-fifth year anniversary of initiation, Diamond—celebration of seventy-fifth anniversary of initiation

As you can see Delta Zeta sisterhood is for a lifetime. Your life as an Alumna is definitely longer than those collegiate

years! Congratulations to all of you on your lifetime of sisterhood, and we celebrate your achievement with all of you!

My heartfelt apologies if I have your name listed incorrectly—if I do, please send me the correction to christyjar-

[email protected]

when sending a letter of recom-

would be great to include informa-
