Where is Turkey On Map?
Turkish Republic is a Euroasian state that funcitions as a corridor between two continents,
Asia and Europe.
Turkiye is a gateway between Europe and Asia.
The European and Asian sides are divided by the Bosphorus (İstanbul Boğazı).
Turkey is bordered by eight countries: Bulgaria to the northwest; Greece to the west; Georgia to the northeast; Armenia, Azerbaijan
and Iran to the east; and Iraq and Syria to the southeast.
The country is encircled by seas on three sides: the Aegean Sea to the west, the Black Sea to the north and
the Mediterranean Sea to the south.
There are 7 regions and 81 provinces in Turkey.

Some of the major cities are Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir and Mersin.

ancestor of Turks”. He is a revolutionary
statesman, the founder and the 1st President of Turkish Republic.
His policies designed to remold Turkish society according to an urban European model.

Turkish Republic is based on a secular,democratic pluralistic and parliamentary system
Ankara is the capital of Turkish Republic.
ECONOMY Turkish Republic
has the 16th biggest economy in the World,6th in Europe.
