Turkey – On Holiday

It was an individiual holiday. The Turkies Invited us, the Szabolcsi Concert Brass Orchestra and Majorette Group, to the Marmaris Maritime and Spring Festival.

• We travelled by bus and ferry. The journey was thirty-five hours long. We watched movies, talked with each other, played poker, and sleeped. Unfortunately I sleeped just one hour.

• We arrived wearily to Marmaris. The weather was amazing. We had a look round in the town. A streak of us walked cosily but not me. I was in Turkey the first time.

We took the accomodation the begin of the afternoon. We were in a five stars hotel with all inclusive, the Elegance Hotel International. The hotel has got two pools, three bars, a gym and a restaurant.

After we took our rooms, we went to the beach and took a lot of photoes.

In the evenings were the appearances after dinner. Usually we arrived back at ten o’clock. We sat at the bar and watched the daily programme or went to party to the Bar Street.

There was a competition on a day. We won the tug-of-war. The watersports droped off by reason of the weather because it was a rainy day.

The last day we went to a boat trip. The weather was very hot. We have been seven hours on the boat. I got surbunt. We played karaoke and danced. We stoped at a port and we had a little time to shopping.

Homeward I sleeped thirty hours and I catched a cold but it was worth doing all this.
